Yes, bring on the TNG Manskirts!
It's a Star Trek costume that should be in the game. Don't want one, don't dress your characters in one.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

no. in fact I don't care, but in my humble opinion, the devs should put their efforts in more important things.

Would be nice to include more material from the actual sources into the game.

    No.
While I'm all for equality etc., I didn't like this specific design in the first TNG season. I don't know exactly why. I think they're a little too short.

Kilts? Hell yes! There's nothing more manly than a kilt. Would pay Zen for a kilt option.

No objection to more costume items.

Only have two male Feds ATM, most of my characters are female, as for why... meh, if I have to stare at a characters butt for hours it might as well be an attractive (to me) one.

Also, what's with all the love for kilts?

You do realise that technically the only difference between a skirt and a kilt is that only one of them your suppose to wear something under it...

And you think there would not be like a short version *and* a longer version added, if it is to be added?

I'm sure they would include that anyways. In many costume-packs there are long and short versions these days.

i also want the female skirt Troi wore in that same episode... it's sad they forgot/neglected to add the TNG Uniform skirts, both female and male... the only reason i rarely use the TNG Uniform is because of there being no skirt option... also we need lab-coats...

If it was in the show...why not? I would never use them, but, hey...it was actually in the show!

They should add it along with the long version of the dress uniforms. It would be nice to see that.
    Support the movement!
Come stand with us in supporting Star Trek: The Animated Series content for STO! (It's canon!) #TASforSTO

Time travel and glass-cannon ships hurt my head and is NOT what Trek is about. Trek is exploration, becoming better as a species, and gaining scientific knowledge while holding on to the traditions that got us where were are.

Would you want the Manskirt in the C-store as a costume option?

It's fine by me. It was in the show, and if people want the option, why not? (For people who don't want it - well, you don't have to use it; that's where that whole "option" thing comes in.)

Well I only play female chars generally, but I say let's have em'! Also, do away with male/female clothing restriction entirely already! I'd like to wear formal business suit on my female.

A friend of mine once said, Real Men wear Pink, becuase Real Men don't care what Fake Men think.

the Manskirts probably fall into the same category.

"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."

Yes (if it's available to women as well as men), because:

    1. More customization options are always better
    2. It's one of the few canon uniforms we still don't have
    3. I like the design and would love to have it on some of my lady characters (and possibly also dude boffs)
  • jaguarskxjaguarskx Member Posts: 5,945 Arc User
Ummm... is there an option to wear stocking on days when I..... I mean my male captain and male Boffs do not feel like shaving their legs?

It's a unisex uniform in the show, why would people think it would only be available for male characters?

Because every time anyone posts about it on the forums, they call it "skant" or "manskirt", completely ignoring/forgetting that women wore it too. (Just look at the OP; it has three pictures of men wearing it and zero of women wearing it.)

Sure, why not. If people want to ridicule themselves or their boffs then i say "let them".
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
