I actually strongly suspect it will. Why bother designing a completely new interior, when it'd be easier to just copy paste the old one?
Besides, i doubt the D'kora is a money maker anymore. Only a few hard-core fans will pick one up, as statistically it's quite inferior to many cheaper options, and the majority wont bother to unlock any lock boxes older than the Tal Shiar, due to vastly inferior 'consolation' prizes.
statistically its quite inferior? probably just as well most people fly ships.. not numbers on a piece of paper.. its still a solid rock of a cruiser, i jump in new T6 ships, level the trait, then back into my D'Kora i go.. its a great ship to fly. as for the special consoles on the interior, i double that'll happen, i can see an interor for it, but the premium amenities.. nah, the D'Kora still sells, and has held a good for a long time (in part due to those amenities)

I'm not saying it's a bad ship, but it's perfectly capable. I'm a fan of it myself, and one day hope to get one.
However, Statistics chasers will not take it, because it lacks any universal stations, and has a very low hull capacity for a ship of it's class (Battle Cruiser). The Fleet Avenger has a higher turn rate, universal stations and a 5/3 layout. Not to mention how much cheaper it is to obtain.
I don't doubt that it sells, Like i said in my original posts, fans of the ship will want one. However, it's not going to sell as much as vastly cheaper (and superior in performance). Last i checked there where less than 10 on the exchange, partially because very few people opt to open the older lockboxes (Cardassian/Ferengi/Tholian/Temporal) purely for the fact that there's no good second prize, and unless you win the ship you are left with essentially junk.
I think it's either going to have the D'koras interior or it won't have one atall. Taco stated the reason the previous Risian ships got no interior because it wasn't cost effective to make something only a few players would ever use.
Why would they make a completely new interior, when they already have one?

They could give the Nandi a D'Kora interior without giving access to the Exchange, Mail and Trader functions. I cant see them giving full access as that would basically cause a ****storm with the D'kora Trading Union and very likely kill of any further D'kora sales.. that interior functionality is a big part of what the D'Kora is about.
*although, they did paint a pretty picture of the interior in the blog, so it may well be that they have created an interior along the lines of something from false prophets or the like.. Especially if Taco has had his hand in it, shiny reflective surfaces and little details you don't notice right away, i could see that happening.
With a good build and set up, I could fly this ship well.
With the delta shield, it could look quite nice
"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

It figures Cryptic doesn't like science enough anymore to create such ships for events like these anymore that are dedicated to the role, but at least I'm glad this ship does have a science leaning anyway despite not being a science vessel. I guess I have to resign myself to the fact this may be the majority of what Cryptic does for science in the future, just destroyer type vessels. At least it's more useful to me than just another cruiser or escort and being the first Ferengi ship I'll have owned, it may be interesting from an aesthetic standpoint. Mixed feelings but generally I know I'll like to have it.
It lacks the charm of my D'kora's crescent moon shape.
I'm definitely going to win it, I just hope I shall be able to also use the D'kora appearance for it. If not I shall park it in my dry dock with my other trophy's.
The new swimsuits do not appeal to me ether, but they are right up Meowstar's alley! hehe
Those new boards on the other hand, omg they have released Pitbulls!!! Cryptic, that was just awesome!!!!!

Man, that ship is UGLY. It looks like The Artist Formerly Known as Prince gained access to the digital design file for the D'Kora and then had an epileptic fit at the keyboard.
The Ferengi often got reduced to a joke in the TV series. A little too much for my liking. I did find that STO treated them better than the series did. STO maintained their avarice and principles, gave them a little humour but kept them respectable. This ship undoes that.

How does the ship make the Ferengi any less... anything?

It took looks from the other ship. So it does fit in with their designs. However I won't get it, since I don't have much a use for it. And rather save space for other ships I really want.

I just prayed initially that it was backwards coming at me , but when i seen the pincers at me my stomach dropped a tricobalt bomb in my designers conception of a good build vs horrible .... i felt sad and lost as i looked at all the tiny aesthetics of ship , but then i seen layout and said i guess ugly ships can have good layouts at least that was a major good point.
The D'Kora would look much better if you turn it arround, fore is aft and aft is fore. Further you need a second one and glue to the bottom of the other one. If you do these things, you have a fine looking ship.
The nandi looks good, but it has also a flat bottom surface. It looks to me that this side cannot take as much stress as the upper side. So the same design flaw as the D'Kora.
yeah it looks terrible, it's totally just gonna end up sitting in my bank forever... i was really hoping they'd throw the science captains a bone this year with a Risan science ship, we got one for Engineering captains last year and one for Tactical captains the year before that... where's the Science love?..
Not really, it's ok (the D'Kora still looks better).
A nice Ship for my Delta Recruit KDF-Ferengi, a nice trait for my KDF Sci-Main Character.
Maybe i will even dust off one of my retired D'Koras

actually i'm one of those that laugh when people complain about grind in this game as they have no idea what grind is if they think this game is grindy...
So far I'm unaware of anyone ever accusing the Ferengi of having an aesthetic sense. It's an ugly ship. I'm sure to a Ferengi it's beautiful--but that's neither here nor there. If it performs well in battle, then it's acceptable regardless of its looks.

I think it looks generic enough if you change the paint job around. I will try if I can make it generic enough to RP as a Tellarite ship

Considering Ferengi architecture (of what we've seen in DS9), the Nandi design is 'well within established parameters,' as Data would say.
Am I the only one who thinks the ship is backwards?
Not the only one. That was my first impression too. That and the toy appearance, which recent art trends can't seem to get enough of.
Had it been not facing backwards, it would look suitable for an ugly ferengi ship, as if it had some "warship"-like attack style underneath the plastic bubbled surfaces. Again, I mind the toy look much more than getting some ferengi ship for its trait and put up with staring at its front.

If there's synergy with the D'Kora's consoles, my main might just fly it, as well, as he has the D'Kora.
If it has the D'Kora amenities, I'll use it on all my toons, having Bank/Exchange/Mail access anywhere, anytime, is very nice. Very. Nice.
ETA: As far as looks, go, I think the Nandi looks like it has lobes. Big'uns. Very Ferengi...

Still kinda cramped , also noted that Leeta needs some new clothing , like seriously .
... something saucy will do, instead of the 'almost the same color as the wall behind her' look ...
