There are a lot of mistakes in there. An Intel ship gets a Better Cloak than Normal, which means an Intel BoP gets Enhanced Battle Cloak. Next you give us a BoP without Universal BOFF stations? Then you give it an Extra Weapon and the Console from the Mat'ha. Also BOFFs tend to be one BOFF ability short to pay for their…
The Scryer with it's DHC option and cloak really should have been the Tactically slanted Sci Vessel. The Dauntless on the other hand should be Eng Sci or pure Sci. If you want a Tactically based Sci Vessel than it should have a DHC option. I've often wondered if they put awful layouts on ships that they know will sell for…
So I'm thinking based on the Trait, Torpedo, 3 DHCs, DBB Front. 2 Turrets rear. BO gets an AOE upgrade and THY gets an AOE upgrade. I do think we got a little shafted with the speed and turn rate, Klingons, the faction who have the best handling cruisers and the best handling ship in the game (BoP). Only seem to make…
Of the 4 ships revealed today I think Cryptic really nailed the Fed Guardian Cruiser and the Romulan Aelahl Battlecruiser. The Maha Raptor not so much and the Dauntless Sci ship seem to be the worst ship in the expansion. My Sci flies 3 ships. LRSV, Vesta Recon & Atrox. At T6 I'll still be flying those as FT5U.
Apologies I missed that. Lobi/Lockbox and 3 Pack ships are all Fleet Equivilent from the get go. Lobi/Lockbox ships are getting the upgrade for free. As far as I know the Guramba is the only ship that has no Fleet version so no 11 Console Upgrade option. While I could buy the Galaxy X and upgrade it to T5U, I'd be an idiot…
So your confusion about this ship comes from the fact that it's not a Tactically orientated Science Vessel? I looked at this ship, it doesn't do what I want it too. Maybe the Dauntless will. Your best option might be to upgrade your current T5 Sci Vessel.
The Romulan too have ships that can shoot torpedoes while cloaked. So it's just the Feds who won't have that option. The game engine is designed with combat around 10km, one weapon can get a bit more range. But at 20km you don't even know what your shooting at. Tetryon is a Energy type in this game, we don't have Phaser…
Realistically what else would they give it? 5 Tac Consoles aren't going to be on Cruisers. This game blunders under the mistaken concept that Klingons don't do Science. Not every Klingon is a Warrior.
They should just release a T6 Carrier as a 3 pack with one for each faction. Romulan Battle Cloaking Carrier. Least Shields & Hull Klingon Cloaking Carrier. Middle ground. Federation Carrier. Most Shields & Hull Same BOFF and Console layout, 2 Hanger bays, Frigate compatible (Drone ships for Romulans, BoPs for Klingons,…
Shield killing Torpedoes and a range enhancer. Sounds like you want to buff the ships that can fire torpedoes while cloaked. None of them are Federation yet.
A Destroyer is not an Escort? How do they differ? Cryptic can say an Escort is not a Destroyer but it's hard to tell what the defining features are. The Guramba has the exact same BOFFs and Consoles as the Patrol Escort. You fly it like an Escort, you gear it like an Escort. Cruisers are well defined in this game,…
I think the Next Fed T6 ship will be an Escort. 1 of each for Intel, a Normal Cruiser, a Normal Sci ship and next a Normal Escort. The 7th Fed ship will probably be the Fed shaped Carrier they've been crying for since they got the Atrox. I would of at least liked to get details on the Raptor before they announce another…
Yeah that's why I suggested BO to replace APB. There is a console called a Shield Refrequencer, and there is a + Shield HP version of it. It will probably be easier to get through the Dyson rep grind boxes (I've gotten a couple) then trying to buy a Field Generator. It has a secondry effect that can be quite useful. If you…
Sadly I think your right, I used to be able to zip around in my high speed shuttle (Warp 14 and a Driver Coil Warp Core) and auto change to my ship for STFs. Now if I do that everything goes horribly wrong. That doesn't make the idea bad.
Since the Aelah is not a Intel ship I think it will be somewhat different. As for where the Intel officer can sit... I think Lt, if not an Intel ship. I would like to think Battlecruiser style, 9 to 10 turn rate, Eng Commander, Tac & Sci Lt.Com Uni Lt & Ens. Or more likely a Eng Lt. Don't know what kind of console it would…
They have already said they will not. None of the ships on the test server that have the T5U update gain a BOFF station. T5U ships get a 10th Console (Edit: And yes there is one ship that gets a T5U upgrade and has no Fleet version. That is the KDF Nausican Garumba) Fleet T5U ships get a 11th Console Essentially Fleet adds…
I'd switch TSS to ST and A2SIF to ET. Teams no longer lock each other out and with low aux power ET is far better than A2SIF. I'd also trade BFAW3 to BO3 as BO no longer depletes weapon power. There are a ton of useful Universal consoles available these days. Vulnerability Locaters are a great replacement to Tac Consoles…
Every ship with a Cloak in the show could Battle Cloak. I believe that the standard cloaking device should cloak the ship slower, and have a longer cooldown but still be usable whenever the hell you want. If they are going to start retroactively buffing console sets I'd like to see some love for the KDF side too.
The Galaxy getting the D'Deridex Boff layout wouldn't be bad. Although it does suffer from the Feds want everything stigma. But it's kind of ridiculous to give the LRSV (Intrepid) the Nova layout and have them the same. And weren't all Sci vessels supposed to get a second Deflector?
The Fleet Ship provision is something the fleet owns not the player. Essentially they start a project, everyone contributes and they get some fleet provisions that are shared by the whole fleet. It's 200,000 FC and a Fleet Ship Provision. And if you leave the fleet you keep the ship.
