  • You know, I have an idea. Why not just make a season dedicated to fixing bugs and updating the engine? If you keep applying 'quick fixes' instead of taking the time to properly fix things, the game will suffer. And in the long run, profits will suffer. Also, the engine is really showing it's limits. Why not give it some…
  • #DeltaRising or #AlphaFalling I guess...
  • I do not want to disprove you, because you do raise a valid point. But if you would clone an arm, not attach it to someone but just burn it or something, are you hurting the arm? If so, would it be wrong? If I had to answer I would say no, because while the arm is made of the same biological material as a human, it can't…
  • Like like like. However, I feel sad for Obisek, he must be cloning himself to be in almost every Romulan PvE. (My point is: can't you create a new character for the RR, this is getting repetitive.)
  • And how exactly do you know this? Do you work at cryptic? I don't think so. Findin where the bug is located in the code alone could take hours, and thinking of a solution could take even more time. And like I said, I doubt that Cryptic will invest that amount of time in this bug.
  • There are tons of other bugs in game that affect a lot more players than this bug. Fixing this and not fixing a bug that crashes the game regularly for example will result in a major rage on the forums, saying that fixing a very rare bug while there is a major bug that affects lots of people is insulting. I'm sorry, but…
  • Exactly what I thought. Especially since the type 8 shuttles do launch properly, so why not the others? But I guess we'll be seeing top secret phasing technology equipped on our pets for a while
  • And I'm just going to drop into the discussion here. I agree that the Avenger would really benefit from some more hull options, especially the saucer. Right now it simply doesn't have the level of combustibility we've come to expect from Cryptic (the Odyssey and Bortasqu' suffer the same fate, but that's a different…
  • The 'justification' isn't the same, it only sounds the same. BGO isn't used much by most players, and is also not very significant compared to a complete faction that is set aside by the Devs, which hurts a lot more people and a lot harder because it's on a completely different scale. Well, it's a matter of perspective, in…
  • It is true that names are reused, and I admit it might be the case here. But I still think it's the very same battlegroup because both wiki's say this. Oh yes, whoops. But I can remember that someone ingame said it was D'Vak who actually put the thing together, and if I can recall correctly it is D'Vak himself. I'll check…
  • Wait a second mate, Battle Group Omega has been around for at least thrity years. The Enterprise-E was attached to it in 2379. Sources: http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Star_Fleet_Battle_Group_Omega http://sto.gamepedia.com/Battle_Group_Omega Also, it is also stated ingame that it was D'Vak, son of Alexander Rozhenko, who…
  • Uhmz, no? Technicly the KDF and the Federation are still at war, so why would the KDF loan out an officer? It's more likely that that BOFF is actually a deserter from the KDF that the Federation gave amnesty to. (Or a Fed prisoner forced to work on a KDF ship, or something) EDIT: Yes I know endgame the KDF and the…
  • This bug also appeared on tribble a few months ago, I still see the Atrox gracefully cruising around ESD with an Odyssey escort. I also saw a Haakona humping a Defiant. It was fixed the day after if I remember correctly, so I would say: just enjoy the funny scenarios while you wait for a fix :P
  • Not sure if this even applies to this, because I'm 99% sure it uses a different texture sheet, but I'm going to post it anyway. This looks kinda blue, any chance this is going to be replaced too?
  • I would pay to see that as an option, would be funny as hell to play like that xD
  • You know you've blown your objectivity with the line "I hate them."... If you don't like them then YOU don't play them, you don't decide what others must and mustn't do. On topic: I would love to see a nimble cruiser, I currently use the Scimitar, but I really miss the Vor'Cha playstyle
  • Hm, seems a bit large for a light cruiser. But hey, it's freeeeee :D
  • But of course they have, ever noticed how many yellowshirt vulcans the Feds have? You know who I mean, the guy who creeps you everywhere on your ship. You guys are complaining about Tovan, but you should be complaining about the cloned Section 31 operatives all around the federation!
  • Well, they probably did it to create volume yes, scary big ships and all. Really overcompensating for their lack of real power (or other things). Well, I never heard of the "matter in one, antimatter in the other". Which would be a bit weird because that would mean the matter and anti-matter would react to each other in…
  • Well, first of all, that big space in between is actually made so that the nacelles can 'see' each other, because in canon it was established that the pair of warp coils need some clear space in between them to function (generating fields and stuff). Well, that was the case up until someone in the series decided to trow…
