My Character is a ship

No idea what is going on here, but my character skin appears to be a ship. Others online have confirmed that they see me in this same manner...

    Yeah you are the third person I've heard report this today. A video was posted of an oddessy skimming along the ds9 promenade.
    It's not my fault if you feel trolled by my Disco ball... Sorry'boutit.

    Yep happened to me too, I hope it gets fixed before Dec 5th coz I want to have a go at getting the new ship... and maybe play some of the FE series too that I missed out on before.

    But I'm not going to while I have no ground character!

    Got a response from my GM ticket last night...basically said to submit a bug report (which I already had done anyway) make sure the rest of you do the same...

    I submitted a report from both my characters, as they are now screwed!

    Edit: looking at the Gateway my characters are still preserved (or it just hasn't updated yet) so maybe there is hope!

    I will add my 3 characters in as well
    They are all ships
    And its not cool because you cant do anything ground related.
    No ground missions - because you cant manuever because your hit box gets in the way
    seriously not a fun bug.

    It's astonishing to see people having this particular bug again - I haven't seen it since the beta years ago when I took this screenshot!

    Bump...still can't fix my primary character and she's currently unplayable. I even went so far as to delete the whole ship that I'm showing up as, and no change. Its like my default uniform/costume is corrupt. When I go into the tailor my uniform shows up as U.S.S. Avalon and I can't rename it (says I'm missing parts) and I can't create a new one (says I can't change the type of character). I'm officially pissed.

    This bug also appeared on tribble a few months ago, I still see the Atrox gracefully cruising around ESD with an Odyssey escort. I also saw a Haakona humping a Defiant.

    It was fixed the day after if I remember correctly, so I would say: just enjoy the funny scenarios while you wait for a fix :P
