Hey all,
So I logged in into tribble today to test the upgrades to the Galaxy Dreadnought. I equipped some Advanced Scorpions I had laying around and when I launched them I noticed something funny. Somehow they mastered the ability to phase out of our spacetime and flew right through my secondary hull.
This is when I started investigating, I picked up all the EC hangars from the store + the advanced peregrines I bought a while ago. It turned out that only the type 8 shuttles actually launch the correct way (to the aft of the ship), while all others fly to the front of the ships through the secondary hull itself. I also checked if a similar problem was occurring on my heavy escort carrier, which it didn't.
If it were all of the fighter pets that were doing this I could ignore it as a funny bug that might be fixed, but the fact that the Type 8 Shuttles actually do launch correctly makes me wonder why only these pets launch correctly? Did the devs just forget to update the other pets?
As I was testing I was joined by 2 other players who had exactly the same problem, so it isn't a localised issue.
Is anyone also experiencing this?

Stinks of a half-assed job to me, the mechanics already exist for fighters to go vertically (I.e. Vesta) and that'd atleast look better than phasing through the hull.
Exactly what I thought. Especially since the type 8 shuttles do launch properly, so why not the others? But I guess we'll be seeing top secret phasing technology equipped on our pets for a while

I only tried with Fighters (Had elite Peregrines in my inventory). Still, if this goes live i've lost alot of faith in Cryptic..
I sure can't wait to see what 'reboot' we get next!
