I love these Fleet Nova threads..fantastic. Been distracted with the Dyson Sci Destroyers lately but everytime I read one of these threads it makes me want to go for it and add one to my Sci Toon's fleet. The Fleet Nova...the little ship that could :-)

After wasting excessive amounts on lockboxes and getting nowhere...I switched to buying keys with my Zen, selling them for EC and saving up for the ship I wanted on the exchange :-)

Ah well due to the servers being down everytime I logged on I (and others) will be unable to log on to claim it due to being European based..an extension of the time limit would allow those of us to claim who were unable to during the outage...:D

Currently flying a Tal Shiar Adapted Battle Cruiser as a sci using its universal Cdr to get Gravity Well III in addition to Tykens Rift II... Add in its 4x4 weapons slots ..Dyson Torpedo/Rom Hyper Plasma et al its a darn good ship if you can afford the EC to buy it.

Prefer running the Nukara ground missions instead, you can rack up quite a few nukara marks running the easy and medium missions at the same time..

V interesting build there...Took both the RR Transphasic and Cluster Torpedo off my Vesta when I got the Rom Hyper Plasma torp but miss the damage it can create...I use the Dyson Grav Torp and Rom Hyper Plasma torp but might switch the Rom torp back to either one of the Transphasic's..;)

Excellent points Baudi..I had thought a bit about using the Cdr Univ BOFF as a tactical one, especially to get TS III for my Dyson Gravimetric torpedoes :-) I havent heard anything bad about this ship yet...Its definetley on my to get list :D

Prefer the Vesta with Elite Scorpion Fighters and all the necessary consoles/XII Cannons etc :-)

Yeah prefer the DPS from the Elite Scorpions to boost Vesta's firepower + sci abilities..will definetely have a look at the Flight Deck Officers to see if they can help :)

Yep a very good addition to the DPS on the Vesta..there is also a purple DOFF that increases the accuracy of carrier pets but can remember it off hand :confused:

Thanks for that...what about the advanced fleet plasma beam arrays XII..they seem to add a 10% accuracy as well.. Good point about the torpedo vs extra array..

I see your point with regards the Jem Hadar space set..the shields are a little on the low side considering the Vesta's hull strength..at least with Nukara marks easier to get than the others it should be quicker to get the Nukara items

Enjoying these posts as looking to "pimp my Vesta" as much as possible, really enjoy flying this ship as it seems to be very under-rated :D

No just appears in the Engineering section of the Duty Officer Assignments..i tend to jump around sectors to check if its available. Might be a character level specific though...

As a previous poster stated just make a shortcut for the STO exe to put on your desktop and bypass ARC completely... All you have to do is enter your password each time but better than loading up ARC..

I played with British Starfleet Corps back in 2010 but had to stop playing ST:O due to starting a new family. Upon logging back into my old character account it seems I am still part of BSC :D or at least that is showing in the chat section :D
