Elite Scorpion Pets on Vesta? Is it possible? Thanks.

    Thanks. Starting up the grind now. Are they as good as they seem on "paper".

    No, they're much better. The plasma burn alone is more powerful than Peregrines.

    Yep a very good addition to the DPS on the Vesta..there is also a purple DOFF that increases the accuracy of carrier pets but can remember it off hand :confused:

    fyi: don't feel obligated to use plasma weapons on your ship to support weapon dmg of your pets...

    your tac consoles do not increase weapon dmg of your pets if they happen to be the same type.

    It's a Flight Deck Officer, it increases Accuracy of your pets in Intercept mode. There are 4 Flight Deck Officers.

    One speeds up deployment of Hanger craft and Boarding party. Another increases Carrier Defense in recall mode. The final one increases attack power in Escort mode.

    There is no FDO Buff for Attack mode.

    Yeah I am loving the extra DPS so far although they are a bit squishy. Sadly I have some decent doffs so I can't get the pet ones.

    As to tractor beam and special abilities, it is a little too random for me. If I could control it then maybe it would be useful in PvP.

    Yeah prefer the DPS from the Elite Scorpions to boost Vesta's firepower + sci abilities..will definetely have a look at the Flight Deck Officers to see if they can help :)

    Most definitely. I've been using Yellowstones on my Vesta for a while now and I love them. They mess everything up. Especially during missions that have large amounts of enemies that all get caught in the tetryon plasma. I don't see myself ever using another carrier pet again (for my Vesta anyway).
