No. being forced to buy new content as it comes out (or get left behind) is what made me quit DDO if Cryptic were ever to do that wit STO, i'd quit here to
thanks for the reply. unfortunately, while I am going to be playing agian, i dont plan on devoting much time to the game. certainly not enough to contribute to a Fleet anyone else care to weigh in?
if i had to choose how the RRW Akivasha would go, it'd be going down fighting, a suicidal assault against impossible odds. Single-handedly taking on an entire Borg battle squadron sounds just about perfect.
heres a concept that sends a *slight* chill down my spine: 5 cruisers all bunched within 5k of each other, broadsiding with FAW if like auras form multiple ships stack, the above scenario is scary as all hell if in the more likely scenario that they dont, you still have all 4 diff auras up on the whole group at once, which…
the ideal solution would be to offer Marks as an optional reward, kinda like the lockboxes IE, on Mission Replay you can get: the regular Mission rewards (scaled up to your level) OR a Lockbox OR a Mark Package containing an amount of Marks of your choice BASED ON THE MISSION"S AVERAGE COMPLETION TIME
quoting this, cuz it works. i've been in PUGs that knew how to do it, and got it done easily and smoothly i've been in alot more PUGs that didnt, and we all got slaughtered or the core was destroyed the problem is ppl ont know how to run it, and its a damn shame
sorry to derail, but............. weak and fragile? ur kidding right? the number 1 question i get asked in my scimitar is "How did you survive that?" not because my ship is made of glass, but because i just did something that would've gotten just about anyone else killed (like aggroing all 4 battlegroups single-handedly in…
#3 YES YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES with a caveat: they need to add Dil rewards to all Nukara/Romulan Mark ques as well. its frickin unfair that i have thousands of Omega marks just from grinding dil, but cant get ANY dil farming Rom or Nuka Marks
i'm an Irish american myself. and there is no denying that the event you describe DID have a HUGE impact on Irish culture i never said that a catastrophic event would destroy a culture, just fundamentally alter it its rather clear you dont understand what i'm trying to say, or possibly wont. either way i'm done arguing…
its in alot of builds for several reasons, but i'll try to sum them up: it has 300+ dps against bare hull, with a 360? arc for comparison, a MK XII Turret (the only other weapon with 360? firing arc IIRC) is 132 DPS it does have its drawbacks, primary being its Kinetic damage is greatly reduced by shields but picture this.…
take a look at the history of cultures whos homes were taken from them or destroyed. to a one, every single one was fundamentally altered or outright devastated to the point of never really recovering "Home" is a defining characteristic of a culture, and LOSING that home WILL have a profound effect upon it. it is not just…
alternatively, if you use Polaron or Tetryon weapons, have a Drain Build, or even just use a Plasmonic Leech, a Flow capacitor might be an option as well
another thing to note is that if ur a Rom flying a Warbird, PartG will effect the damage your Wave and Jump abilities do. i wouldnt stack a full rack of Particle Generators just for that reason, but i felt it was worth mentioning to break it down: Sci ship using Exotic damage powers: get the Particle Generators Warbird: 1…
add my name to the list of ppl that think we should get bank access on our ships. its pants on head TRIBBLE we can get into our Account bank, but not our individual character bank
i think you all are missing a rather salient fact: Romulan culture/society as it was before the destruction of Romulus NO LONGER EXISTS. the entire race has been decentralized, the Empire is nothing but a shadow of itself, most Romulans are just struggling to survive in a hostile Galaxy. the entire culture has experienced…
i've actually been doing some research into it, since i didnt want to post incorrect info the general consensus is the every 10% ACC over DEF yields 1.25% CrtH and 5% CrtD
not quite. from what i understand, there is something called "Accuracy wraparound" essentially, if your ACC exceeds the DEF of your target, that extra % is converted into CrtH and CrtD so if your target has a DEF of 0 (aka. not moving) ALL of you bonus ACC is getting converted
so let me see if i can break this down into something easier to understand: ACC is king, hands down CrtD is best with high CrtH stats (no surprise there) DMG will start outperforming CrtD at about 10% CrtH, getting better the lower it gets
yup, concur with the MU being a good one. but its only there for an hour, maybe 2, each day. and only if you happen to be on at the time it is running. for a more practical approach, try replaying some Episode missions. they award lots of Expertise and some of them have rather valuable completion rewards as well
the unfortunate reality is, those lockboxes are a large part of what keeps the game running. from the obsessive compulsive who open every single one they get, to those of us who just plain get tempted to try opening one once in awhile on the off chance they get something nice the point is, EVERYONE opens one, even if its…
