Granted I find the forum slow to load but I haven't had problems with it, so I don't understand what is broken, however just because I don't have problems doesn't mean they don't exist, but what exactly is broken?

It's not broken, per se, but if your car is suddenly replaced with one that doesn't have an air conditioner (not broken, it was built without one), you'd call shenanigans.
What exactly is broken is that there is no way to make it show only STO. The button to search for all threads since your last visit shows ALL Cryptic game threads. The Search bar at the top shows ALL Cryptic game threads. You need to manually go through the list, and pick out the STO threads.
So, each individual game section needs to have its own button for showing all threads since your last visit. The Search bar at the top needs a designation thing to specify which game to Search.

All those who have been helped by it say otherwise, but whatever. The whole point of the painting was it was nice. Not for a debate on theological beliefs.

Also to make the forums prettier and easier to use all round, check out Asterelles add-on in my signature below - adds block/ignore user amongst other things like letting you choose different themes and seeing a preview of the post again on the Discussions page.
Of course, even though I now only have STO selected, it still shows 100 pages of threads when I click on Discussions. Discussions is showing (literally) EVERY thread in the STO section. No way am I going to spend that much time going through every post.
EDIT: Also, do you have an add-on that only shows threads with new posts since my last visit?
Beside the hide button I mentioned earlier is a mark read button - it seems to work, but if someone then posts in a thread which you havent visited since the move to vanilla it shows a huge number of unread (RP in ten forward showed 49K unread posts for me! - when these appear just click on latest post to visit the thread and then it shouldnt appear again unless it is a commonly accessed thread (which my example RP seems to be!) - vanilla it is a pain to work with atm as it seems like it looks to see when you last visited a thread which has been posted in to determine if it has new posts for you.
I am working on something at the moment which would left you filter the discussions page some - no eta on it but will let you folks know when it is ready - it might actually end up in asterelles plug in as a feature.
