I *might* like it if there was a decent chance of winning a good ship.

The Temporal Lockbox is great if you don't give a TRIBBLE about canon.

The new lock box looks pretty good and it all sounds like interesting stuff.

The only downside is that being a fed ship and a klingon ship (which is good that the klingons get a unique ship and its nice to see) it means you are almost having to gun for 2 ships over just 1 if you like both factions.

When did anyone care about canon? Did Paramount care about canon when it made JJ-Trek? Did CBS care about canon when it added the Temporal Cold War, Sphere Builders, Xindi, Vulcan Mindmelds, etc? The only people who care about canon are the fans - and they only care about the canon they like. Not the canon as a whole. :)
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Great PWE for keeping stuff not unique. While you are at it, how about merging the whole KDF fraction to Starfleet?

Seriously, you have hired an incompetent person on decision making chair who probably never heard about words like distinctive, unique, different, special

Yeah, I was really hoping for Picard's gold Speedo in this one.

Where can I get my own decision-making chair to sit on? It sounds useful.

Or some Ent decon wear from the Temporal Cold War. They aren't saying what's being added to the Lobi store, do they? It's been a long post, getting from there to here.

Soooooooo much potential for bull**** in this next lockbox.

    The ships look super sexy.

But special abilities that let you go back in time, aoe bubbles that slow opponent turn, speed and ability recharge while buffing your own. A number of set bonuses. Chroniton beams and a set that buffs chroniton projectiles.

Can't wait to see how this **** turns out

We're getting 'temporal jumpsuits,' those rubber suits with the glow tubes in em from ENT.

If you had talked about the loss of uniqueness only then perhaps I could understand the argument (although these consoles will be fairly rare so personally i dont really see the issue) but you instead singled it out as an attack on the KDF.

So why not mention that the klingons are getting anti matter spread as well, or does that fact get in the way of the whole angry KDF player bit?

I don't understand why nobody at Cryptics sees that all this stuff will make any future attempts at a somewhat balanced pvp system nearly impossible.

If they had gone with disabling all these things in PVP (like Champions does, if i heard that right), they could have avoided tons of issues while losing almost no revenue because the PVP community is so small (or so they tell us).

I saved up a lot of Lobi to buy a female outfit for my boffs, only to realize that unlike the zen store stuff, I can't dress my boffs in Lobi store clothing.

Please fix. I would spend more Lobi if I can dress my boffs too.

And unlock in the Foundry as well. I'm far, far more inclined to get something if I can use it in the Foundry.

looking at the amount of bug ships in the queues, i wonder if any non-pvper even bothered to get one.

they have to manually tag stuff to get it in the foundry. when they do tag an item it unlocks for every single foundry user, whether they have bought it or not.

so the only issues is tagging new stuff faster.

Seriously, I wasted 150 zen thinking that it would work similar to a Zen purchase. I have both male and female boffs. Give me an incentive to buy it all, not a reason to not buy it all.

Yeah...Which means the 1,000 day reward is going to be a craptacular ship.. probobly a cruiser.. PROBOBLY a Mirror Galaxy-R and Mirror Negh'Var.

AMS and ISO charge... The ISO charge I can live with I guess.. But AMS?

Should have saved AMS to combo with Aceton Assimilator.. then the Pay to Troll consoles would have been complete.

Oh well, the consoles are supposed to be for fun.. Wait.. you mean the new stuff comes with more trollyness? The New Ships have WHAT?! :(

Oh well, I guess the old days of no Cryptic consoles in PvP is coming to an end. It was a nice run while it lasted. :(

This set includes a Chroniton Dual Beam Bank, a Temporal Disruption Device (a torpedo-type weapon), and Universal Console: Tachyokinetic Converter. These items, when combined, will give captains a passive boost to their Chroniton projectiles as well as allowing you to activate an AOE time-slowing bubble around your ship that will slow down nearby enemies? Flight Speed, Turning Speed and Recharge Timers. If equipped on a Temporal vessel, this ability also has an beneficial effect on the ship that activates it, increasing their maneuverability and reducing their recharge times.
bwahahahaha and we were worried that about SNBdoffs, MOAAAARR movement debuffs

the black of the new outfit pants is not canon accurate!

We have what they have told us is a bug that has been doing this for some time, allowing only lifetimers to make liberated borg or only those who have bought caitians to make them in foundry, etc.

Surely they can reverse engineer that bug into something intentional.

Granted its not a universally popular idea, and it would take effort on their part... so probably not going to happen.

As with the past Lock Boxes, we'll be keeping one thread where you can leave your comments, feedback, and ideas. This allows the dev team to watch one thread about the subject where we can read and consider your feedback.

    Cheers,
