Strange, I'm getting "Invalid password" now, even though it is of course the same password and I can log into CO and STO just fine. Is something wrong?
I still can't login and I got kicked last night, after midnight. However, my friend wasn't able to access chat from Pidgn for a few hours before but was about 20 minutes before mine went. It'll probably be all good once todays maintenance is complete.
Still seems down today, hopefully just a patch thing.
Yeah, that's why I put it as an FYI, so in a month when people who go silver come to find out why they might actually see that. I doubt it but we'll see. lol
We shoudl all be used to this by now. Everytime maintenance or a patch happens, something else gets broken. We've had horrible audio in every environment but space on Holodeck for about 2 weeks now and well over a month before on Tribble. Clearly, quality control was lost quite a while ago.
That's so weird. I got disconnected when the server went down but it reconnected when it came back up. I wonder how they managed to only break certain users.
Change cryptic or pwe password. If you have both account name and passes same it tries to log with pwe which don't have massager access.
Some people like us don't like account linking!
so for logging in via the web (not pidgin) you are saying if our logon for PWE and Cryptic are the same then then selecting Cryptic as the account type will never log in? and if the passwords are different then I should be able to log in with either my PWE or Cryptic account?
Example: I created a PWE account that was the same logon as Cryptic, after i linked it i was no longer able to select the cryptic radio box and log in.
Is one not able to enter their Guild/Fleet chat through an XMPP client such as Pidgin? Last time I tried I was returned with a "Service Unavailable" I can enter public channels with no issue, just would like to be able to chat with my Fleet when I can't partake in the game.
I actually use Pidgin anyway, but for this service, I get "not auhtorized". I only have a PWE account, but according to this thread, this should not make a difference?

The only error I'm seeing is the same "service unavailable" for Fleet and offficer chat previously reported.
