    Thanks again, Alan.

Now hopefully, when the devs get around to making Starfleet Academy, they'll use my guides to make the Cadet Uniforms. Otherwise I'll have to do them all over again.

    He he he.

The devs would be insane not to go with what you've done for cadet uniforms. You've used all the best ideas as far as I can see. If the devs manage to come up with anything new I'll be very surprised indeed.

And here they are, the EMH Variants! Thanks again to InvisiblePerson for help with the colors on EMH 2. The EMH versions are the uniforms as they appear in the game. The others are variants assuming these version of holograms exist in the game even though they do not appear anywhere... yet.

    EMH 1 (Emergency Medical Hologram)
    ECH 1 (Emergency Command Hologram)
EEH / ESH 1 (Emergency Engineering Hologram / Emergency Security Hologram)

    EMH 2 (Emergency Medical Hologram)
    ECH 2 (Emergency Command Hologram)
EEH / ESH 2 (Emergency Engineering Hologram / Emergency Security Hologram)

    Enjoy!

Nice work with the new additions.. :)

Going back to Academy uniforms...did you ever read Paramount's Starfleet Academy comic books which took place around 2372 - 73? As I recall the Academy instructors and staff wore the DS9/VOY uniforms except that the polo-shirt was the same colour as the division colour on the shoulders and that the rest of the uniform was grey. Any possibility of you putting together some guides for those?

As a matter of fact, I did read those and I do remember something like that. Now I'm going to have to dig through my comic boxes again to find them since I can't seem to find any images of the instructors or administrators on the web.

    You're welcome any time.

I think I can help you there with some images, mate. I came across these two earlier:

    http://www.st-spike.org/images/uniforms/noncanon/uniforms_13.jpg

    http://www.st-spike.org/images/uniforms/noncanon/uniforms_15.jpg

Which are a part of this site: http://www.st-spike.org/

I know they're not the greatest images in the world, but hopefully they'll give you a rough idea of how they look until you come up with something better to work with.

On that website, there's images of other non-canon uniforms from the Starfleet Academy comic book and the game Elite Force II but I haven't posted them as I'm sure you've got enough on your plate to work with and, in my humble opinion there aren't really the resources on STO to pull them off...but then again you are you. If anyone could put them together I'm sure you could. :)

I have the collected comics up to 2002 electronically (http://www.thinkgeek.com/interests/giftsunder20/e594/ - hooray birthdays!) so if you want some reference, let me know, and I'll see what I can do. Spike's site is probably better though, since it's already all found and sorted...

Assuming it's customizable absolutely, but somehow I doubt it will be. The baldrics on the KDF side aren't.

Sorry, I can't use that site. I don't trust sites that bombard me with pop-ups and try to get me to sign up for things every time I click on something. Thanks anyway.

As I said, I can't use Spike's site, so whatever you got could be handy. I did manage to find my Star Trek comic boxes though, so it's really just a matter of going through them to find those issues.

Surprised that that its not possible for the KDF to customise the baldric. I thought there'd be plenty of things to do with it.

I'm incredibly sorry about that, Blackavaar. Had I known I would never have directed you too it. As a user of the browser Firefox myself with the add-on Adblock Plus installed with it I've never suffered from pop-ups on that site.

I hope you manage to find what you need so your able to make those Starfleet Academy 2372 instructor uniform guides possible. :)

Yeah, there would really, but unfortunately the devs thought it was best to not give us the option for some odd reason.

    No worries, mate.

These New Additions to the Details section prompted me to redo the color mapping on the others as well to make it less cluttered and easier to see the images. I also reorganized them so that they are in alphabetical order. Let me know what you think.

    Bajoran Earring - Gold 1
    Bajoran Earring - Gold 2
    Bajoran Earring - Silver 1
    Bajoran Earring - Silver 2

Ferengi Headdress - Simple - Ferengi 1 (Mine Enemy)
    Ferengi Headdress - Ornate

Also, check out this New Addition to the TNG section in the Canon Uniforms Guide.

    Acting Ensign

    Enjoy!

Maybe its something they can work on in the future? I'm sure the players of STO with allegiance to KDF would welcome the opportunity to have a customisable baldric.

Just curious, I was watching the last episode of Voy and I noticed that the Doctor's uniform looks a little more blue to the ones Dax and Bashir wore in that DS9 episode that took place in the fture. Are my eyes messing with me or are they the same color? BTW, those Bajoran earings are great, I already changed the earings on my officers that wear em.

You are correct. There is a minor difference in the tone between the two version. Different costume directors make for continuity errors from time to time. Also, you have to consider that those costumes likely get washed a lot, which would cause fading over time.

I will be watching a lot of TOS this weekend and working on the new TOS Pack uniforms. I'll have them added to the guide ASAP. Keep watching.

While this is true I think the green I used for the TOS Captain's Variant is pretty close to the actual color in Trek's pic. I can't tell for sure yet as I'm still stuck at work, but it looks pretty close to me. As for the light blue used for the Doctor's and Nurse's Variants, I don't think the C-Store images look accurate at all. They're a bit too light. Still I don't think our available options will match perfectly either but we work with what we have. C'est la vie.

Isn't the Acting Ensign uniform a bit dark on the top?

It seem more like a dark gray purple than a blackish. :)

It looks darker in the Tailor screen than it does in game lighting. You can always go a couple shades lighter if you like but it is a cool gray, not purple at all. If you try any of the purples you'll see.

Your guide is very interesting but there are some mistakes.
The department colors fpr the TWOk uniforms are in some cases wrong:
    - white: command (including all captains and admirals!)
    - yellow ochre: engineering, gunnery flight control
    - grey: science, navigation, communication
    - light green: medical
    - windsor green: security
    - sky blue: special service (commissary, recreation etc.)
    - flame red: cadets & enlisted trainees

    (Source: http://www.st-spike.org/pages/uniforms/2278-2350/divisions.htm )

The uniform colors of the TMP uniforms are not based on the department:
    - blue-gray: all command officers (Lieutenant Commander and above)
    - beige: all other bridge officers
    - pale brown: all other personnel
    - white: technicians/medical officers
    - grey: planetary personnel
    - sage green: ?

    (Source: http://www.st-spike.org/pages/uniforms/2273-2277/uniforms.htm )

And the last thing that the open TNG movie uniform as used here never existed, because this is the shirt of the TNG captain's variant uniform combined with the TNG movie jacket.

Thank you for your notes, but I have come to the conclusions I have drawn by watching the movies multiple times myself and conferring with several friends.

If you watch Wrath of Khan through Undiscovered Country you can note that the winsor green that you mention is used for Security Uniforms only appears in the Medical Facility that McCoy is sent to in The Search for Spock. In all other instances the Security Officers wear black collars and an armored vest. The armored vest unfortunately is not available. This leads us to the conclusion that those uniforms are specific to Medical Security personnel, which would fit with the green collars worn by Medical personnel.

And in the case of TMP, again if you watch you will note that there seems to be some correlation with divisions and rank. For instance, you only see crewmen wearing orange and brown in the engineering section and transporter room, while crewmen in gray and white appear in the science and medical sections as well as on the bridge.

Trust me, we've gone over and over this and while there are sources that say otherwise, I believe we have come to more accurate conclusions than they have.

And as always I will remind you that you are free to use whatever colors you believe are best. This is merely a guide to help start you out.

Also, since I know many of you would like to know, the TOS Bundle guides will be up shortly.
