Here's a list of GPU. You need to make sure your PSU can support them. If not we will need to also buy one.
Graphic Gaming cards:
Entry level:
ATI HD 4650 and 4670 cards only needs a 400 W PSU.
Nvidia Geforce GT 240 needs a 350 W PSU
Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT needs a 400 W PSU.
All four of these cards usually do not need a 6 pin PCIE cable. Always check the box for system requirements.
STO Gaming level med. Price ranges on these cards are under $100.00. The ATI's usually a better choice here on a price/performance.

No, nozzle, HAVE a Mac because of personal choice and WANT to play one paritcular game on a computer he/I already have and don't want to shell out hundreds of dollars, hours of time and the hassles of hundreds of thousands of viruses just to buy another OS just to play one particular game.

Awesome. See you in open beta!
Nope, I'm at work right now.
EDIT: I'm checking it out right now with the live feed, though nothing yet. I won't be able to watch the whole coverage.
The LG Press Conference just ended. Today is press day. So it's a little slow today. Tomorrow is when the doors open.
Past noon here (9am there), but nothing yet.
Color bars and not on yet... 20 minutes late so far. LOL, pathetic scheduling.
I'm in the chat there, but don't see you in it.

You're OK. Should play STO Med. You might want to get a better GPU. Try the game first see if you like the way it plays.
Run the STO Test.

You have to remember that WoW is a 2003 client and STO is a 2009 client (even though released in 2010). 7 years makes a huge difference.
But honestly, your PC should be fine. I'd overclock that PC to get so much more out of it (with an aftermarket cooler too).
EDIT: Oops, had this sitting up while people on GSC were talking to me and didn't hit submit until now.
Intel Quad Core 2.6 GHZ
