Please update the graphics even though this game been out for years, the graphics are so 1990. FIX the bugs already. Just making a character on a PS4 is so long do to the lag bug that's been present sense release and has only gotten worse with the more stuff you guy put into character creation area. I do like that you added Discovery start point.
Please do not update the graphics, I have an older computer. What I want them to do is to continue to optimize the game. What is the point of having good graphics when you have crashes, a black screen bug several people are having, etc.? What makes a game great is not just graphics but other factors such as gameplay, characters, etc. I come from a generation that played games like Think Quick, Carmen Sandiego, The Hunt for Red October, and Pirates on diskettes and using DOS. As well as games on the NES (I had a thing called a Polystation), SNES, PS1 (I got that later), and PS2. I personally do not have a PS4, PS5, or an Xbox One nor do I desire one.
Also, don't forget there are people who have not been able to play Star Trek Online since a certain patch. I know you meant it sarcastically but these graphics are definitely not so 1990.
Every game has bugs. I also would like more bugs to be fixed and I have starred several bug report threads. I have 50 pages, I eliminate some when they are fixed whether in the patch notes or stealthily. I also add them when a fix stops working, new ones come into play, etc. I play one game on Facebook that was converted from Flash to Unity, another through a Flash-based micro-client developed in-house, and a game that is HTML 5. The first, Gardens of Time, they are still fixing bugs that popped up with the transition from Flash to the current platform. Maintenance only done when needed or an emergency. The other one, Star Trek: Alien Domain only seems to do maintenance after an event is over, a hotfix, emergency maintenance, server maintenance, or when a server gets added though not always. It does not have a maintenance on a certain day of the week like STO does which is Thursday (except when there is a content dump then it is on a Tuesday or when emergency maintenance is needed). STAD used to have a regular maintenance schedule but that changed many years ago. The final one, Star Trek: Alien Domain: Incursion, is pretty much treated like STAD (it is a spinoff from it) except I do not remember the last time it has had a maintenance or even an update except to add a server. While these games are not MMOs, the reality of all games is that they will have bugs. Best thing to do, is report them through Support and in turn posting on the STO forums and/or social media. Be as specific in the thread titles, the description, and of course add screenshots using imgur (I personally wish they would allow you to attach screenshots directly like the forums of STAD and STADI and would suggest that quality of life including being able to copy and paste which you can do in Discord, I have too many accounts and passwords for various sites, it is ridiculous!
Captaincelencelestail: Well the test does match up says Kirk took the test in 2250. Well you learn something new everyday. I thought Discovery was 100 years before Kirk, boy was I wrong. Now Discovery makes no sense to me now.
Yea that is right, and discovery is 10 years before TOS; though perhaps now 8 years before at the conclusion on Season 2 of Discovery. Which is where Strange New Worlds will start when we later get to watch it.
Well I admit the Type 7A is an nice improvement on the Type 7, which was my favorite of all Federation Materials.
I'm glad Garagin made the list of Ships updated, hope this includes Yamatoe being similar to Andromedia.
Though it would be nice to see a earlier released T5/T6 Ship or two, added before the update in 2.5 months or so.
Now that we've seen the Malachowski (DIS) was merged with Miranda (parts-wise), chances are that we might see that again with the Garagin getting hooked up with another ship. Not that that is a definitive, but a possibility.
Sorry, will not let me create a post nor can I find a suitable post to put this in. I just made level 50. Got message from Admiral Quen to report to space dock. I go to check T6 ships to pick one to find I don’t have a ticket. So I have checked every way I could to relocate message and to replay message to re active it. Yet it’s gone. Seems they changed this since the last time I have played this game. So now I am level 51 and still nothing. I been checking every hour back at the space docks to see if now I can access T6 ships, yet nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been playing since beta, they have never given away T6 tokens at level-up. The only free T6s they give out are event ships. The only ways you can get a C-Store T6 for free are by converting dil to zen (which is hard right now with the recent dilex market crash), or someone giving you a 100% off T6 Ship Coupon from the C-Store (can't be sold on the exchange so they are only available via direct trade, I have no idea if many people sell them or not, was intended as a gift option for people that wanted to buy a ship for a friend or fleetmate).
Is this the best place to pitch a suggestion for the game?
It's unlikely that any pitches we make will be incorporated into the game, but you can always make a thread to discuss something you'd like to see. This particular thread however is dedicated to tracking official posts made by the CM and the devs on Reddit and various social media.
Sell ship mastery xp packs/insta-max button. If I get a new ship just for the trait, let me buy out the mastery xp for 50,000 dil or so, so that I can skip the requisite patrol grind.
Sell special high reward DOFF assignments. Allow people to buy missions that will rank up their DOFFing CXP more quickly. I'd love a quicker way to get multiple toons up to rank 4 diplomacy.
A DOFF training/crafting system would probably require a lot of new tech, but it would be cool if we could use dilithium to train or craft DOFFs with some of the rare/expensive active duty skills.
Some sort of BOFF trait changer/retrainer or upgrade system. Then not everyone needs to have potato man in their science seat.
Very strange tweet. TOS had plenty of exotic aliens though the bulk did tend to be either closer to human looking (like Elasians or Tiburonians) or much further (like Horta, Excalbians, Medusans, Tholians, and others) than the casual "lets stick a rubber fried egg on their forehead and call them an alien" style that the various later series tended to use, though they did have some that were in the middle like the Andorians, Tellarites, and a few others.
On top of that, instead of being blindingly obvious forehead appliances they tended to go with odd skin tones, modified ears and hair in TOS so they were not as noticeable (like the Tiburonians with their elephant ears, and rafts of other aliens). A lot of them are not even completely doable in the Alien generator, for example the short copper-skinned Ithenites, due to the lack of needed colors or parts.
It would be nice if they included the Alien generator in AoY (especially since the movie era is only a few years later so a lot of highly exotic aliens were obviously part of the Federation during the TOS era) but it is a fairly minor issue, especially if you use the bigger hair styles to cover the ears.
Still, it would be great to be able to play Violaceans, Loktarans, Ithenites and others seen in Journey to Babel at least (the funny thing is that you can pretty much play Makusians and Capellans using the Human generator since it allows weirdly tall humans), though it would not be something worth delaying AoY to put in either.
I confess I am rather weary of that excuse at this point. We've never seen a Starfleet ship use tetryon weapons, but there's no restriction for that. We've never seen an 'Elachi' as a bridge officer, yet.. here we are. We've never seen an NX class with more firepower than a Sovereign, and.. that's somehow perfectly fine in STO.
Probably the biggest offense for me, personally, is the Dominion faction. The tutorial is such a small part of a character's lifetime. Why is it such a restricting factor(aside from bad planning)? Playable Vorta should totally be a thing for people who have already played and fully developed atleast one Jem'hadar(like playable Remans with the New Romulus Reputation). Suspending disbelief of a Vorta being treated as a Jem'hadar for the opening sequence is honestly a trivial affair if it means actually have some variety for the faction. (Some Vorta Boffs would be GREATLY appreciated as well.)

He obviously meant "within starfleet" given the context.
A lot of those are within Starfleet, like the Violaceans, Loktarans, Ithenites and Makusians, and since AoY actually takes place just after TAS that would logically add some more like Caitians and Edoans (though the latter would be impossible with current base models and making a custom one just for them would not be efficient).

We see them in the Federation, not Starfleet. They are never in Starfleet uniforms, serving on ships. Though I would agree about Caitains.
I believe the TAS was accepted as canon, so Caitains shouldn't be a problem.

TAS isn't TOS though, and the TOS start in STO is based on TOS, not TAS. Or so Cryptic has said in the past.
True, though they set it in 2270 which is the year TAS happens so Caitians and Edoans are definitely in Starfleet and starting to integrate with Human and Vulcan crews. Edoans are a no-starter of course due to the model incompatibility, but Caitians would fit both the timeframe and the models, and having a C-store race available to AoY might spur a little extra sales of them.
If they DID add Caitians to TOS I would not be surprised if they were a Lifetime Sub race.
Which would kinda fly in the face of the fact that they are a normal C-Store species unlock. Why should you have to be a lifer to make a TOS Caitian when you can just spend... what? $5-$10 or so for the species unlock that already exists? To me that makes no sense.

One way or the other, we now have access to the hairstyle the Caitian character Nichelle Nichols played in TAS, so at least we know that asset is available if they do add that species to the TOS Starfleet mini-faction.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.

You never get a token for a free T6 ship, the closest you ever get is a T5 token (though not all T5s are available for selection). https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Starship_Requisition
The Summer Event starts soon and you can get a free T6 from that, though it's a Risian Cruiser instead of a strictly Federation ship.

Hmm. I wonder what that's about?
It's about the tweet immediately above it - in other words, they're bringing more dilithium sinks.
