    Also, considering his knowledge of the game in general... "in the elite four of traits I know about" means absolutely nothing.

    Not agreeing with someone doesn't give you the right to be an TRIBBLE.

    Ci sono tre tipi di giocatori:
    - quelli a cui non va mai bene niente... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
    - quelli che sono talmente imbesuiti da credere a qualunque cosa i dev dicano, perfino che la luna Γ¨ fatta di formaggio... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
    - quelli che credono a quello a cui Γ¨ giusto credere, sono d'accordo con quello con cui Γ¨ giusto essere d'accordo e sono critici con quello che non va;

    Ai giocatori dei primi due tipi, gratis in omaggio un bello specchio lucente su cui arrampicarsi. E una mazzata in testa per la loro poca intelligenza e compassione verso gli altri giocatori che non la pensano come loro.

    If I had to guess, I'd say he was possibly speaking of these 4 (ground) traits:

    https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Trait:_Hive_Mind
    https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Trait:_Brutal_Impetus
    https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Trait:_Dulce_Et_Decorum_Est
    https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Trait:_Vicious

    It's possibly this may also be one:
    https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Trait:_Berserker

    Though it's one I don't have myself for most toons, as it's a bit older trait than those above. So a possible new one, might be interesting especially those who missing 1-2 of those identified.

    Note: Many are also available in the
    https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Infinity_Prize_Pack:_Personal_Trait_(Ground)

    ----
    It's truly sad that the only updates we get are on artwork.

    Not trashing the artwork, mind, but there's serious bugs that are being reported and met with dead silence. For example, the inability to use Destabilizing Resonance Beam manuals, which as far as I can tell affects all Federation and allied captains and has been the subject of a thread for over two years, and connects with the Delta Recruitment Event as the episode that rewards the manuals is part of the Iconian War arc; yet nobody other than me has posted in the thread in over a month.

    All I got from Support - weeks ago - was a "thanks for your patience". That patience is long since worn out and I would really like to be able to actually use these things.... someday.... but there is not even confirmation that the issue has been passed on to or is known to the programmers.

    To be fair, unless they have a very strange organization artwork and coding are probably separate departments, and they are down at least one coder who went to Magic: Legends and they may not have replaced her (and possibly others) yet. With all the bugs they really should expand the coding department a little instead of just bringing it back up to recent pre-Magic levels, but it is what it is, annoying as it can be.

    All that is true, but they could at least tell us that they know the bug exists. That there's at least a plan to, at some point, fix it. Not just tell people "thanks for your patience" and hope that patience is infinite.

    Or the same for any other prominent bugs.

    But unfortunately, other than these artwork things, the ONLY announcements we have gotten in MONTHS seem to be about *new* things, including ships, recruitment events, etc... and patch notes that only mention things when they get fixed (if that).

    I don't seem to have problems using Destabilizing Resonance Beam I/II/III, I was able to use the Manuals from Iconian Mission, and/or craft others. I also don't think I've seen it on any of my Characters either, so may be limited to a few people or characters for some reason.

    I'd try direct messaging him, and say one of the Character's it effects so perhaps they could investigate, then just be kind and let him know it effects a few other characters as well. While I don't hear from him too often either, I trust that he does forward issues & or challenges people are facing.

    I try to stay upbeat and positive as best I can.

    I admit I wasn't even aware of this bug. I'll ask in my fleet and if anyone is suffering from the same thing, I will redirect them to your thread to post about it there.
    Also, and I know this is not ideal by any means and I'll totally understand if you don't want to do it, posting on the subReddit might give more attention to the matter...

    Direct messaging WHO? And where? (Because I am banned from Twitter.

    I replied via Direct Message to you via this website, how you could direct mail someone via the website.

    Yet realize our CM can't comment on any ongoing BUG fixes, or when they may be fixed. Still if you are polite and kind and try to explain the situation, or identify at least one of the toons your having problems with, he may be able to ask one of the DEVs to investigate a bit further. He won't be able to comment about how long a fix may take, the fact few others are seeing the problem you are, means it may make it harder to identify the cause.

    Sadly I think, there's always a few who may try... ;)

    Thought this looked stunning! He did a stream on the 18th, which shows some of the progress being made. He also shows a few decals and nice touches, showing unique turbo lift doors and a few others.

    Six, now. (Out of eight who have completed the episode.) Just did it with another character this morning and tried to use the manuals immediately upon receiving them.... nope. This is getting ridiculous.

    Here's the thing. Even with the number of people posting in the thread in support, then even if it were a completely game breaking bug for them (which it isn't), then it's still a small bug in the grand scheme of things, and they may have determined that it's not worth the cost to track down and fix.

    I would like them to confirm that is actually correct... but instead all I get is silence. Support won't even leave the ticket open. And our supposed CM won't even reply.

    He's not allowed to comment on status, or timelines of BUG fixes prior to them showing in patch notes.

    Still I believe he forwards INFO on Bugs, and other issues to the appropriate team; or that's my hope at least!

    It would be nice to hear back more often, to acknowledge what was sent, or that he's relayed it on.

    Tried posting this earlier, but since the forums are being TRIBBLE about me having a link to the original Dev post on Reddit, I'll just quote it without linking to it. It specifically concerns the Tholian Webspinner console bug and changes.
    The chain not working is a bug, and weirdly it doesn't occur on the test servers or on internal builds so figuring it out is proving tricky.

    The Crit interaction was supposed to be there, but due to some strange and subtle weirdness with the engine, turned out to be impossible to get to work right (I know, learning that made blood come out my ears too). However, bonus damage works fine, so we swapped to a bonus damage vs held instead of crit.

    It was not intended to be a nerf, but realistically cat2 isn't as juicy as crit. The monstrous dps on the dot makes justifying amping up the bonus damage hard. There has been only one intentional change to the item since it shipped, and that's the crit to bonus damage swap.

    This item has followed a weird journey, and seems to have landed as Son of Isometric Charge. The chain is definitely coming back, it's a matter of when not if.

    Since he mentioned Isometric Charge, maybe they can also fix THAT console not chaining too.

    Do people still use that console? Deemed it worthless years ago.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    It's actually pretty damn powerful with good EPG and/or electric damage investment...when it actually works.

    Didn't even know about EPG back then so that may be why i found it under performing. I'll give it a go on a dedicated EPG build.

    I won't comment on the "answer" that was given, lest I really do end up being banned, but I will say this: this bug appears to affect people randomly no matter what weapons - beams, cannons and torpedoes - you're using (so far, EPG builds seems completely unaffected, which is good because at least some people will have something to rely on while we wait for the fix).
    Possible workarounds I've read about:
    - die and respawn;
    - disengage, unequip the affected weapons and re-equip them;
    - use change status console/features if available (like the Science Destroyer's Tactical Mode).
