    Still having issues here. Guess I'm in the "some" catagory.

    Just wondering, does everyone affected go through cogentco.com to get to cryptic? I seem to recall some issue with them before.

    And yes, I can't get in either.

    Verizon FiOS does -not- route through those guys for me. When I did a trace, I ended up making it to the cryptic servers, but got bonked off around there. Still not able to connect though.

    i still cant get in. happy others are able too tho. but everyone posting how they cant get in shows how much people love this game :D

    Getting in is intermittent for me

    I can reach the forums through perfectworld but not through the startrekonline address, which is having a lot of issues.

    Try runnig the game from with the console switch: GameClient.exe -console

    And post it to https://support.perfectworld.com/app/ask. Don't want your computer info on the forums.

    If its not solved by tonight no biggie, but I would expect, infact demand, a fix by Wednesday. No I do not mean the early morning like 1 to 4 am time. I just dont want to be told for the rest of the week, well its a problem effecting a few, so we want you to reinstall lol. Now that would anger me lol.

    I thought this wouldn't work, but it did for me. Someone above posted that connecting through a VPN might help... so I did and after failing to patch for the last 3 hours (trying at 10 minute intervals) the moment I connected through a VPN I got in. I then disconnected the VPN and could no longer patch.

    I'm connecting from Los Angeles through Time Warner Cable... now temporarily using a Los Angeles based VPN server.

    I'm not even able to get to past the Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate so I can't even log in to play, and I need to play cause I need to keep my mind off the fracking election.
