sto.perfectworld.com works great, startrekonline.com and champions-online.com are not working as well as (what originally alerted me to there being an isue) www.crypticstudios.com and secure.crypticstudios.com/startrek/keys/activate are both timing out.
Sounds like something a bit more complicated then the patching server.. Even if it was something wrong with patching.. I am not sure it would mess with their webpages. I smell an ISP problems at their end.

Loot conversion? What do you mean? I only returned to the game 24 hours ago and that's after quitting 4 weeks after the game launch, so I am not quite up-to-date and I am a complete noob right now. The game has changed massively since it's launch.

Probably referring to the new way to get STF gear, any old STF currency will be taken away from you and given back in a different form when you hit tier 5 in the upcoming season.
Having problems here as well, using Verizon FiOS, tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com fails at the cryptic servers, so I'm assuming it's on their end.
Got the same problem, it all started when I wanted to do my officer report dailies. The website has been extremely slow all day though. I went to "down for everyone or just me" and it says the website is up, it's just me but after reading this I think it's not just me.
I posted in tech support and was told it seems they are aware of the problem. I hope they can fix it soon.
I was in the game trying to start a Foundry mission and it kept timing out with an dynamic patch - idle too long error. Looked on the forum where someone said to try quitting the game and restarting it. Now I can't log in.
OK. I can't connect so I attempted to PING the servers on 208.95.185.32 (twice) and both times, all four pings were lost. A tracert showed that, the connection would time out over after hop 15 (after that I think it gets lost.) Last good hop was from:
