Anyone else having an issue logging in? (Resolved!)

The launcher cant get in, it gives me an error. Anyone else?

    ok i did the backend patch.... and now i cant relogg in to sto.... it says luncher connect...whats wrong

    I keep getting the cannot connect to the update server.

    When I try to log on a popup box says it's trying to update the launcher but then it times out. It tells me to check my connection which is running just fine. Is there a way to correct this?

    Earlier, the launcher crashed on me while I was logging in.
    "Logging in" as in I was entering my password and the luancher crashed before I had finished and I then got the game crash window asking me what I was doing when the crash occurred.
    But I relaunched and got in with no problem after that.

    I have noticed that sometimes when the launcher updates, it will have that error for me.
    Have you tryed clearing your browser?
    Duoble checking to see if your AV is now blocking it because of a security certificate change?

    Check your Antivirus/Firewall to see if they are blocking it.

    I am not sure what is going on... I come home and tried to connect to STO.... But the launcher says after 2 attempts that it cannot connect to the server. Any help would be appreciated. Not sure how wide-spread this is.

    I give credit to the community manager.. Atleast unlike World of ********, we are not dangling in the wind with no response. So.. Yeah. I am impressed with the speed of the devs acknowledging our inter-dimensional cries.

    ya not able to log on can not even get the Launcher to launch I logged off Tribble and Poof nadda

    I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue. I even tried the champions launcher nd it's the same thing on that end as well. I'm glad the team was quick to pick up on this and hopefully it gets resolved soon.

    same here. it says trying to update launcher and then i get an error message saying that it cant connect to the server. and for some reason i cant seem to get to the STO website through the normal URL either. i had to use a link from a FB posting about the interview and then navigate to the forums to even get this far.

    If Champions is down aswell, I am guessing it's something to do with their ISP or one of their servers decided to rebel and joined the borg :P

    Wondering how long it's going to take to fix. I don't fancy sitting here for 2 hours twiddling my thumbs. To wait or not to wait, that is the question.

    Yeah also having the same problem, i've been playing all day without problems, but the server did go through a strange lag phase for about 30 mins earlier, was impossible to do anything.

    Brandon I am having the same issue, also I can not connect directly to the sto website. I had to connect via a google search.
