When they say it will have some sort of lotus power, this is what comes to mind.

I'm at 988 days, myself, which is a bit confusing since I bought the lifetime sub when it was first offered. If not the first day, within the first couple of days it was announced.

I'm not too worried, though, I only log in to the game ever so rarely. :p

God i hope not, that would make me sick every time i used it lol.
Plus i am sure the G forces from doing that in the ship would throw my whole crew on the walls and ceiling.
Just think of how many cleaners you would need on board to clean up all the vomit

I think it's time to design a spherical bridge...

or something similar to the anniversary odyssey.... a ship that's got comparable but not quiet as good stats, and no mode changes.

So glad we got the freebie Odyssey, I was lusting after the pack for a while but have recently decided it's probably not worth it at all. Would need a 50% ship sale to get me to go for it at this point with far better options on the table like the Armitage. Even that bridge with the non-closing door isn't enough, the freebie bridge will do juuuuuust fine. Free T5 cruiser with LtC universal slot FTW!

As for the Chimera class, two and a half yucks for my personal taste, even with the sure-to-be-gimmicky transformations and abilities. This will be one to sit in bank or in Z-Store as unlocked but unclaimed. Won't be using a ship slot on this on any of my Starfleet characters.

For the Peghqu' or however it's spelled it actually looks kinda cool/interesting/different. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the stubbiness with those huge nacelles (if it were in proportion I think it would look better) but it's miles ahead of the Chimera appearance-wise. I'll check it out on Tribble when I get it in about a month and a half.
Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and the players love it! No, seriously! ...Why are you laughing so hard? :(

Still have about 2.5 weeks before mine loads up. But... after taking a look at it, I think I like it. Arguably, it can function for any class, though obviously TAC-INCLINED.

I look forward to giving it a try.

I think I got my wish, a Sci vessel that can mount cannons with the added bonus of switching between Escort and Science!
All I have to do is wait 300 odd days to get it lol

Maybe someone with a better pair of eyes than mine can help me:

What's the difference between the Regenerative and Sector Space mode on the Klingon version?

I mean on the Fed version you can see the nacelles change distance between them, but what about the Klingon one?

I... may actually fly a different ship on my main toon now. I feel so torn... I love my Advanced Escort. She's my baby. I've been flying her since I hit level 45 in March of 2010, and I even refused to swap it out for the MVAM gimmick.

But I think this Destroyer is pretty damn hot. And flexible ;)

If I have only one critique for the Chimaera, it's that I thought the Sector Space mode would've been more impressive than "rotate pylons up 20 degrees". Something like the four nacelles splitting open (like the top nacelles moving up and out/back/forward and the bottom nacelles moving down and out/back/forward)

Same here. The stats are just too bad. And I really don't like the look of the tactical mode. I wonder who the big Transformers fan at Cryptic is. When my character put on a high-end tactical kit for the first time he looked like a transporter accident had fused him with Optimus Prime. And now that. The poor poor ship.:(

I'm not sure the Peghqu's nacelles are supposed to be extended in Regenerative mode. You can see that they're collapsed in tactical mode.

Its a 1000 day award that you can fly, for free. How can you complain about that? Plus a free shipyard slot. Finally a ship + shipyard spot combo.

    Nice job PW/STO.

Is it my imagination, or do neither ships have an innate power bonus setup (I only see the +5 for the modes)? Is this ship down 15 power?

I saw that movie again about two weeks ago.

But no, it Lotus beam is the same design pattern as the SDF-1's Macross Cannon, a destroyer-class vessel which incidentally must also transform in order to fire its main gun.
