First of all make sure your pets are at max loyalty before comparing them. You also have to account for their attack speed. Some pets have lower attack damage but higher attack speed. The Golem for example have a high attack damage but lower attack speed.

He wanders about Archosaur and never staying in one place for quite long so it's quite hard to find him. Best to ask around.

The beetle is an alternative tanking pet to the golem but a little behind in some stats. It has average stats all round so it's not bad. The only thing I dislike about it is it's running speed but then its about the same as the golem. If you are going to choose a beetle pet then you may as well go for the nicest looking…

Beware, some of these scrolls/books you pick up when activated start a timed quest!! i.e go kill 30 monsters within 30mins. And if you fail to kill enough by the required time, the quest fails and you get nothing! You won't be able to repeat the quest either! So make sure you find the monster you need to kill beforehand…

I know a few of the quests tell you to kill the wrong mob so you could be killing for an eternity and you will never get the item you need to drop. :eek: I can't remember which quest they were but one of them was killing the wrong undine type and the other I can't remember.

That's the reason I stoppped playing my Blademaster. In Closed beta I had to go through several hp+mp charms to reach level 40. Now I have switched to playing Venomancer which is far much cheaper to run.

Actually that was our best way to make money back in the PW-MY. You can make about 100-300K gold in an hour or so by taming high level pets. Ah well, there's goes our best way of making money in the game. :( The only way to make good money now is to camp at rare pet spawn sites (little bear/ flying pig/ kitten/ dog/ frog)…
