    He wanders about Archosaur and never staying in one place for quite long so it's quite hard to find him. Best to ask around.

    He's often can be found near Elder of Archosaur, good luck on finding him if you haven't :)

    is there a quest that deals with him or something cuz i always here people asking where he is but everytime i find him he only tells me rumors. if there is a quest for him what lvl do you get it and whats it about?

    The rumours quest costs 10g each time you take it. There is a quest (can't remember which and where) that requests you to find the Duke.

    The Duke wanders around ADC (Archosaur) though most of the time I seem to find him in the east side, near the Boats and the Elder, as some other people said.

    ROLF Duke Black isn't in same place?! thats first time I hear I usuly don't remamber where all NPC's are last time I saw him he was in South Distric if its truth he moves around then he mostly somewhere at center of distric I haven't see him ever in west one thats for sure if he was I would notice him migrating :D

    This is a partial list of locations where I've seen him:
    North: just north of banker and gem merchant
    North East: near Master Shih (the wing quest guy)
    East: Middle of street, about halfway between elder and the boats
    East: SE of elder, almost near gate between E and SE of town.
    SE: East side of walkway near the water
    S: Near the teleport stone
    S: In the middle of the crossroads

    He often recommends trading with particular npc's, but haven't figured out how to activate any benefits.
    Best benefit was he randomly gave me 10k coins!

    Many of the rumours are pointless.
    Some of them have useful tips (pressing shift to select NPC through player for example, really useful around the banker in west ADC).

    Main reason people want to find him is Dragon Quest.

    And he moves around quite possibly randomly. I haven't heard of any particular pattern.

    I would not say he does this often. It is almost as rare as the 10K coins. But, if you get the message saying you should trade with a particular crafting NPC in Archosaur or Dreamweaver Port, it means that there is temporarily a particularly high chance of getting a 3-star item if you craft with that individual. Note: he also has a message that pops up more often suggesting you not work with one of these people. For obvious reasons I have not checked if that means they have a temporarily low chance of good items, but it would make sense.

    hes in like a different location every hour. Just walk around archosaur on the pavement that takes u around the city. He wont be in the middle of town. If u walk around anticlock wise u shud see him on the road or on the grass next to the road. U can also spot him easier by looking for a purple dot on ur mini map, it shud show if ur close to him.

    Actually if you listen to the rumors and check your quest list.. He gives you quest to do also beside DQ.. I have gotten 3k quest 8 times... going to se Mr Yeh.. I have also gotten a real nice piece of bonus armor when it was suggested I go see the blacksmith because he is tipsy.b:laugh

    I know of these temporary bonuses, but how long do they last?
    An hour?
    Half?
    Twenty minutes?
    Five?
    Two?
    Do you have to rush over ASAP?
    Perhaps is it cancelled by using other NPCs?

    And can others also access this? Is it just the first to get over there..?

    Wut i h8 is i found him in the spot hes sapost to be in befor i started the quest now hes walking around. wuts realy strange is that he game me a rumer that i was bored of killing monsters and that i wanted to start the dragon quest AND HE WAS COMPLETLE RIGHT!!!!
    it was creepy

    yes there is a quest that deals with him it is the lvl 31 dragon quest. I can only find him when i dont want to though it sucks.
