May be the returning warrior buff and the other stuff could come back but only for characters who have been inactive for at least 90 days? This way would help ensure that the buff is given to more of the right players, those actually returning from a break.

Keep Friday as the regular NW at 8:20pm pst and have xnw on Sunday at 11:20am pst. This way gives choice and the time for x NW on Sunday is the most accessible.
