It's not 40% - 80% more damage (which would surely be worth using o.o ), but 40% - 80% weapon bonus, which is just another 1-2k more m.atk. I'll probably only use it in caster NV. On my cleric, I'd easily pick OVS over spiders. Spiders are usually crowded, but I often have OVS all to myself. :P And +1 to the free charms and refining aids. More than worth it to me.

Didn't they recently add the ability to bind eggs? I know for some items, like rank gear, binding removes all the "Unable to trade/account stash/discard/machine wash" tags. May just be money sunk, but worth a try?

As a cleric I always keep res scrolls with me. I don't die often, but when I do it's usually at a bad time. Being able to res myself on the spot means I can prevent additional deaths and/or lots of charm ticks. Plus, most of my deaths are due to carelessness or bad judgment on my part. I'd rather not cause others to suffer…

I've been a pure build since the beginning, and half the time with bad gear. I honestly haven't had much trouble, besides being a bit squishier than normal. BH39 shouldn't be a problem for you, just make sure you aren't in range of the exploding reverexes, and stay out of farren's aoe. Maxed IH can safely heal outside it.…
