Event Boutique

b:shocked So in the boutique, I press on events, is that the event boutique? Well if it is,

I don't see how it is so special, I hear it has lots of stuff. But all I see is some flowers thing and when I press on "Misc." theres only a makeover scroll there. I'm confused, why isn't there any stuff there? b:cry

Please help!

    While the selections are very limited it's really useful for refining aids, fashions, and even charms if you farm dqs often.

    I quite jelly of clerics and seekers for their ability to farm these quite easily. I don't have access to 3rd map yet =[

    Cleric in 3rd map? Not very often. Clerics doesn't have lot of AOE skills.
    Usually I saw BM, wizards, even psychic. But not so many clerics.

    for clerics I meant spiders, slightly dizzy right now from holidays.

    Trade in DQ points on the forums. You get DQ points from NPCing dragon quest items.

    Once you earn 50k dq points, you can trade them in for a demon/sage event card. Trade that into a PW Boutique agent (under quests iirc) and she'll give you the 50 event gold.

    Yep - sorry I was editting when you posted. But yes, trade for demon/sage event card, pick it up from your mailbox, and trade it in at a boutique agent.

    We need 50k of DQ points for that card. Im at 2.8k another year or so If im still playing I might get that much.

    And what are the 50points worth in the boutique? 50 gold, 50 silver, or 5 gold?

    50 event gold. On average, event boutique items cost about 3x what they cost in the normal boutique. Still a nice way to get free HP charms :P

    Higher grade DQs give more, it gets a lot easier as you level up.

    Yeah, I believe top tier DQ items give 35 DQ points each as well as chest of coins give 500 points each when you NPC them and you get 3 of those for each full delta you complete. At high levels its not that hard to get 50k DQ points, especially with the double rewards this December. (I miss NPCing fireworks from snowmen and getting DQ points GMs!)

    In any case, while limited, the items can be account stashed (so fashion from it is awesome), tisha are great for refining gear up to +5-7 and free charms oh yes please. Its not bad at all, I also use it for Tele Essence/Teleport Stones.

    On my cleric, I'd easily pick OVS over spiders. Spiders are usually crowded, but I often have OVS all to myself. :P


    And +1 to the free charms and refining aids. More than worth it to me.

    I can't remember if they used to have random pigments in the event boutique.... BUT I think they should be added b:victory

    No need. You can get those directly with DQ points.
