    Now....IF you want tips sure, I will be more then happy to give them to you or anyone really. You can ask more then a few people on LC and even on other servers to whom I have talked with and all of them so far have not had an issue.

    Oh and I personally (I cannot speak for all) have nvr used any type of ****, etc..there really is no need...LOL!!

    Tips and tricks that will make each HH faster = how you run them b:chuckle

    People always think hacks because they fail to utilize COMMON SENSE in some of these things...and yes Bor that was directed at you b:cute

    If you do farm the "normal" way. Then, yay! (huggles and all that)

    Now if somone has multiple high level alts they use to farm, then those should be drug outside and stabbed in the eyes.

    Typical response from people I wasn't even explicitly talking about (i was talking in general) but I was expecting it.

    Simple question. If you think multi-clienting is **** and you don't need it, why defend it? Doesn't take a lot to figure basic psyche out.

    Why do you think mob counter was added only to certain instances? Why do you think Dusk Shadow is there to stun you if door is closed? You think it is because people farm it the normal way? Why do you think they added very dangerous random aggro to the bosses worth farming for? /facepalm

    (yes random aggro is annoying to "normal" players and farmers, but if you think about it, it wasn't actually even implement for this... of course we get screwed over just because of those who don't farm the normal way).

    Just trying to be realistic instead of idealistic, you know.

    Ok, Look at it this way.

    Do you think random aggro + whatever thing they implemented is gonna change anything?

    The multi-clienters + multi-boxers laugh at it.

    People who do that have no problem, that would be highly good geared sins + bms with 5.0.

    One person on cleric and any other charecter (sin for BP), other controlling the fist BMs.

    Takes about 10-15 for a boss. What they added was kinda useless.

    The 4 hour timer is ok, prevents people from saving the instance. but that is about it.

    I said multiboxing in an instance is banable because you need to be physical active at both computers which is not allowed. You can only multibox for inactive duties.

    Let me quote that thing for you and increase size cuz you need glasses:

    He had a link on top of his post to some ticket, but we can't see it (or I can't anyway) so I guess he had doubts about it also and got that response from PWE.

    Yes now that got "fixed" since nobody can solo that easily not to mention the kill count being annoying to do.

    That was one example of the probably many exploits used by people, but I never heard of others except moving through walls in fb39/69

    I Was quoting Asheera, who was using that quote as proof that it was ok to multi-box, meanwhile right in that very quote it said it is not ok to be active on more then 1 of the multi-box accounts, the rest must be passive. If someone is going to post a quote as evidence that something is ok, they might want to READ the quote 1st. I didnt pull up the Nasuchi quote, but rather someone else did.

    However if you actually followed the quote links you'd learn the source. Nasuchi is noone, but that person was quoting the Knoledge Base of the PWI site itself (which unfortunately you cant do a link the pull up the direct answer.) However click

    It says nothing about what the 2nd client has to be used for except that a user has to be actively present on a main account. It doens't state that they have to be actively present on both accounts. Or that only one may be active and the other has to be passive or any other manufactured stupidity.

    As far as the forums and official GM statements are concerned. Multi-clienting is against the rules and is bannable. Multi-boxing is not. There were no other stipulations added to this any number of times this has been answered by a GM on the forums in the last 2 years.

    I am pretty sure I understand that as you are NOT allowed to 'play' more characters at the same time. This means you can not act as a squad fighting a mob/boss or anything by yourself, even by multiboxing. You can only use multiple accounts for inactive duties like catshop etc.

    But until a GM clarifies I'm talking in vain.

    I got that, from the knowledge base, just 5 minutes ago to cut & paste here. The Part in red is important. Also if the second part wasnt there, even in the part you did find, "actively present with only a main account" right there says in english that they cant be active on other accounts.

    CHANGE IT BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS!!!!!! I know i've only been playing for 1.5yrs. I know this post probably means nothing to you. But I love this game. I made a Veno, I invested my hard earned rl cash to get a herc and be able to do TT3-1.

    I know someone will complain that I shouldn't have been able to... but I played the game with the goal-posts where they were... now without thought, you just move the goalposts and say "cope" ?? :(

    It's certainly not a way to win the hearts of your player base.
