So, we all remember those threads of: "Things you don't want to hear a (insert class here) say." (Assuming people who were around then are still playing/trolling.) This one is made for what you don't want to hear a high level person say, with all the oracle noobs and such.

    You don't want to hear a high level cleric ask "How do you do a crit" before you're about to do Pole in FB69.

    You also don't want to hear them ask for a res after they **** up and die, even though they're the only cleric in a full squad.

    That didn't stop a high level cleric from doing both of those things.

    Seeing a lvl 100 cleric post in faction chat, while she was in a RB run. "Guy's.....what does BB, Heal, and Crit Mean" .....I looked at that for about 5 mins before I could actually comment....

    xD blessing is easy to forget.

    Basicly, from clerics "im full attack cleric, i cant heal" <.< after spamming for cleric for while and when u get one...

    Cleric " i dont have bb" its ok from lower lvl cleric cos its quite expensive but higher lvls should already know how to make even lil money.

    :P now its so freaking easy to lvl with hyper stones, rebirths, fcc and bh so u dont rly have to know how to play anymore. Earlier u had to learn to play good to lvl and only option to help on that was Exp scroll

    Cleric: Purify? (Heard from a 70 cleric in BH69)

    Barb: I have aggro skills?? | True from sucks | I can tank over a 80 BM lol (heard from a faction member... the guy was in his 40's)

    BM: I can stun? | Watch me! (I do that. It backfires...) | LF CLeric for FB19

    Veno: My mechcrab can tank Drummer in squad mode in 1-2 (guildie heard that in their squad - a wipe followed) | How do you pull? (Heard from a 80-ish veno in some TT)

    Any class at high level: Skills can be upgraded????

    Had a lvl 100 BM ask what quests he had to do to get his 89 culti done -.-

    Had a lvl 92 cleric ask what purify was and also stated she has not lvled IH just Blessing.

    Had a lvl 91 archer go afk for 50 min (without telling us he was going afk) on a TT 3-2 run and ask why we left him -.-

    lvl 98 barb say he couldnt do pole without 2 clerics or his charm would tick, he hadnt allocated all his stat points yet -.- Did i mention he also didnt like to fight in tiger form because he couldnt do any damage that way. Then he got mad that a lvl 82 archer kept stealing aggro from him and told them to stop attacking and just stand there and look pretty. -.- we disbanded the squad and found a bm to tank. b:faint

    I was with a lvl 100 Archer today in FC who wouldn't use STA on bosses. I even asked him to use it a couple of times. He didn't say anything so I just didn't bother again.

    See, actually, this isn't so terrible.

    As an archer I can confidently say a lot of people ask me not to STA FC bosses because it cuts EXP. It's one of the problems we have with our debuff, some people think it cuts EXP if you use it, period, because that's 16% of damage you don't deal, and others say that STA will only cut your EXP if the mob dies while debuffed.

    Since nobody can make their minds up, and I've been booted from a squad once for using STA and then PM-yelled at by the party, I generally don't STA on an FC boss unless I am specifically asked to. They die fast enough anyway in 90+ squads.

    You're not suppose to STA on bosses in frost. Any archer that does that should be kicked from squad and pked lol. The exp you get from kills on mobs/bosses are often based on their hp, when you STA they get less hp and you also get less exp.

    Its a pretty big chunk of exp the party looses if the archer starts using STA on the bosses in Frost actually.

    Has it been CONFIRMED that the use of STA will permanently reduce the EXP you gain from a monster or boss? As in, honest to god confirmed. Not just "Well maybe might be"

    I keep hearing a bunch of **** about this skill and everybody else seems to be getting different messages too. Some FC squads will threaten to kick me if I don't STA and others threaten to kick me if I do.

    There's a split opinion, apparently, on whether STA permanently reduces EXP, or whether it will only reduce EXP gained if a mob dies while the debuff is still present.

    So yeah has anybody actually sat down and done multiple testing on this to confirm how exactly this works? I'm getting sick of people in FC squads not being able to make their minds up and telling me to STA or not STA, and kicking me if I do or don't do it.

    To reiterate once again:

    - Some people think STA will permanently reduce your EXP whether a boss/mob dies with or without the debuff, because the damage doesn't 'count'.

    - Some people think STA will only reduce EXP on a boss/mob if they die while the debuff is still present.

    The latter explanation would make more sense because if the boss dies with the debuff present, it's max HP is less and therefore you get less HP. However, even in 90+ squads, FC bosses aren't doomed to die in 30 seconds, so if the latter is true, you should be able to STA on any bosses that will die after 30 seconds, when the debuff disappears and bosses max HP returns to normal.
