    so they always say...
    wtf is a metal mage, ur a cleric u can't dd. go uninstall. last i checked i hit jsut as hard with her as most wizzies =P b:chuckle

    Meh. In FF that buff is basically worthless, else where it'll add some dmg.

    That BM got 4.0 aps base and 5.0 spark? Then it's a valid question. Just go find another cleric and your golden for the run.

    Lol about my archer comment, you really think fist / claw is better than your bow? Look at your skills first, are you using a level 1 bow or WTF?!?!

    Bows are for archers because they can use skills with them, without skills = normal damage / crits sure more interval however, it is still not as high as a skill crit with a decent bow I can bet.

    PLUS if you for some reason get aggro, you don't have a stun to run away, archers are meant to stay far away from damage / fast kill before reaching you.

    You sir have to play more before saying that archer is better with fist / claws. Or simply quit your archer and make a BM.

    Heh, duel me with fist / claw archer and I bet I will win.

    You don't have to control your aggro if you have a good barb that knows how to keep aggro.

    I had a squad with two psys, a barb, a cleric, a bm, and me. Everything went smooth, even when they sage sparked, they didn't take aggro and I'm pretty sure they did decent damage.

    This isn't about PvP, but good try.
    Btw, try to find a Nirvana squad full of 5aps bms, and a bow archer. Not guna happen. If you want a good Nirvana squad, and you're an archer, you better have 5aps. They only bring the bow to lower bosses max hp.

    Other cleric: i was healing the tank because he is the tank and if the wiz steals aggro its his problem

    Barb: "Oh, I didn't get that one, I don't really like tiger form that much so I don't really use it..."

    He was level 90.

    Archers have to be 5.0 endgame to even be considered an invite to Nirvana. You cant reach 5.0 unless you go interval build with Claws or Fists. No one wants an archer that only uses bow for anything besides baddies that needs one to bugg BH100 boss in Warsong.

    Cant believe a lvl 100 thinks a bow is better for DDing than being perma sparked. It doesn't matter what class you are as long as spark gives phy attack, than 5.0 with fists/claws will always outdmg any ranged weapon.

    For PvP tho of course a bow is way better since you cant auto attack people to death lol, but thats kinda obvious.

    Also why are you talking about how archers have to stun and run away if they pull aggro, please name one boss that you can stun lol...

    Why run in the first place if you get aggro anyway? If you start running with boss chasing after you will **** everyone of and if you're doing TT you might re-set the hole thing.

    Thats also one of the main reasons why archers have to use claws/fists endgame to DD in Nirvana. When you use a bow and get random aggro the boss will move towards your location since you're out of his dmg range. That of course interrupts all the mele DD-ers in the party, including tank and they will get annoyed since they have to move after <_<

    to clarify: better = deal more damage per sec in a single boss. at least that's what i meant when i said better.

    if you continue saying that a archer using bow is better then i suggest adding that post to this topic's list.
    btw, i thought that archers deal more dmg with plain attacks than skill spamming (lets leave STA out of this right?)
