Kitty took another look at the weapon images and identified the weapons. She was originally incorrect about her statement that there's no blade but a sword. That's because she mistook magic sword into sword for she didn't take good enough look at that wizzie's pose. But there's no sword at all, but a poleblade instead.

Ahh you're right I got the first one wrong. instead of arguing , this forum has derailed into some monkey playground, with poopoo flying all around, and biggest pile of **** gonna win.... feels like this quote about pidgeons and chess sometimes....
then again, we did not have forum police for like 4? years now.. ppl just got used to beeing a **** and getting away with it. on that quote bout real world being harsh .. that maybe true ... luckily a online game has not so much to do with a real world, and can enforce its own rules ...

lets just hope, g17.5 is gonna be the new warsouls (like the 35k usd ones we had years ago) - just not as expensive
i feel like the extra defensive procs on all weapons gonna upset the stone scissor kind of pvp we got atm, by alot... just like sins did with open pvp... i personally didnt like it at all.
on a sidenote : i do like the new skins :P ... just not the psychic one ^-^ .. but that has always been the problem with a football in psy hands...

If I get this for my seeker, not sure which weapon I would pick. Dual most damage, but damn I hate dual blades/swords >.>

First looks amazing. I think is a weapon for venos. I believe I have seen venos with such kind of weapons.

To me, this complex system is like a fashion DIY.
Also It is a major source of G17 stuff ( plus new FB), you need to upgrad your housing system to get higher quest for better rewards.
However, you may need tons of coin for upgrade your housing system.
According to PWCN feed back, if you want a very high level, and upgrade everything, you may need couples of billions coins.
Most players will have to put some hundred millions coins on this system.
Gold price will be expected to go lower and PWCN already did.
For PVE, i think this system is very awesome but not much sense to PVP.
G17R5 is still very very difficult to reach so far.

I haven't been around much lately so I arrived late to the discussion and it appears some off topic arguments got the main thread locked so I can't ask anything on the thread anymore which is why I'm making this thread.

According to the main thread, G17 weapons will be tied to housing. However, I thought housing was a PWCN thing. We have no housing here in PWI. So why do people talk like there is going to be G17 here?
I was about to get a G16 on a toon, but if we're getting G17, then I might as well grab a much cheaper G15 for now and wait for the G17.0 -
f2p version of PW CN just got housing along with the new weps. According to attackerv's last post there tho, be prepared to sink 2bil into the new wep. If you're not already g16, might as well just grab Lunar version for now and resell later.0

Housing system was originally only in the Pay-2-Play version. (PW1)
They always used to say that we would never see the housing system in the Free-2-Play version. (PW2) Note: It was PW2 looong before they called the expansion PW2, and technically our version is PW2.5.
The latest expansion bring the housing system to the F2P version. We might see it here in 4-6 months. We may not. It will require considerably more servers than what we are using now, and given that PWE isn't prone to spending money even on providing a decent support team, I find it hard to believe that they will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to support this.
But they said they would never merge the servers too.
Also keep in mind that the gear in our version is different from China's, and to that extent, we may still never see G17, or that version of G17 in our version. (At least, not if the cashcows at PWE have anything to say about it. They'll find a way to milk it in the boutique and I'm sure they'll offset the current gear completely to expand the power creep even further.)
I'm also tossing this into the existing G17 thread, and will re-open that discussion once I get the motivation to dig through all the dung. You can thank your fellow forum posters for that at any time.0 -

So it's a possibility that these weapons won't be coming to our servers correct? I mean i hope they don't because think about all the people just getting their R9 gear and so on ijs..
Although i don't mind the upgraded skills coming..that is what i'm mostly excited about.

I think it's pretty safe to say we're getting this in it's entirety though it may be a few months.
I would simply just not invest in a r9rr wep at this point.0 -
I don't see any reason why they wouldn't bring it. It's fully compatible with our gear since you can use this weapon while still having the set bonus from R9rr armor (the R9rr weapon is not a part of the set). The last time content arrived that was different than what was in PWCN was Sirens of War but that was years ago.
I'm a little unsure if we are getting the G17 cube neck since that looks similar to our NW cube neck but farming G17 weapons is the whole point of most of the new content in the expansion.

I've seen some stats on G17R4 and G17R5. But can anyone post some stats on G17R1? I'm just wondering how the G17R1 (the "free" one you get from doing a quest) compares with the current base G16 weapons we have now.0

What is the farming time that people are expecting in china to farm such a weapon? How "hard" is the instance (if anyone has been able to find out? Can it be spammed, or is it a daily/weekly thing?0

we need confirmations boys..
1st confirmation required: Can classes obtain more than one g17 weapon since those aren't class restricted except for tb-ns-mystic-archer weapons?
2nd confirmation required: Did anyone in PWCH obtain the 5th cast already? Are weapons in any database to be checked yet? (Chance to get the procs on fifth cast, weapon damage range etch)
3rd confirmation required: Weapon procs, the % chances of each offensive and defensive proc pretty please
4th confirmation required: Is the 100% mag\phys red offensive proc debuff, stack with its own new debuff icon, or is it not0 -

if it has its own icon, wizards and stormies can pull shenanigans with such a debuff
ex: g17 debuff + undine spark (assuming 115 dex) fist = 100 + 60 + 110 + 30 = 300% debuff
