Thanks for the info @asterelle -0.1 int on a g17 fist/claw weapon will be awesome. As usual us bm will have the hardest time, we will have 2~4 weapons to farm . I presume the 2 weapon adds are not random? we have 100% chance of getting -0.1 int on claw, fist?

As for people saying game over, isn't that why we play games, to have fun. Some people have fun with content, others like me want to get the new stuff without spending real money.

As for farming, up to tier 5 from the pictures

mat 1 - 6,000
mat 2 - 3,600
mat 3 - 1,045
mat 4 - 300
mat 5 - 61
mat 6 - 13
coin cost - 320m

If that amount of mats are required a new instance [like trials, qsm] might be introduced, add another forge/tab to make these items from supply tokens or do a mixture of acquiring these mats throughout the game like they do with star chart stuff and have a dedicated instance for it. Supply token seems easiest route, but we'll know in a few days once it comes out in the chinese servers.

@chary i am also interested in learning if they are bound gear or not, judging from mat progression, it might be character bound. I hope they have unbound version, otherwise massive coin loss on weapon refines.​​

Those 2 weapon adds are fixed a.k.a. 100% chance, along with those 4 other stats. Only offensive and defensive procs are random.

As for farming, up to tier 5 from the pictures

I don't see why they made fist and claw, sword and blade, glaive magsword and pataka, but no crossbows and slingshots? A GoF crossbow with +5% crit instead of -.1 would be a nice option to have (though I would get bow anyway for aesthetic reasons). ​​

Kitty misses slingshot most of those. The whole idea of having -.1 int on slingshot, with GoF and Compassion and +80 attack levels...it's just all too amazing. Maybe that's why they didn't make one.​​

If the quest is daily kind of quest, and one makes weapon from quest reward items, i think you should be able to make a def version and attack lvl version.

Ohh, so this means Venomancers are no longer stuck with Patakas? That's a nice change! Kinda tired of the random damage. I can't lie though... Patakas look so good on Venomancers.

An offensive weapon and defensive weapon sounds good. I suppose you don't really need to refine the defensive weapon so highly, if you won't really use it for attack as much. Still that probably means quite a lot of farming to do, if we want both. The new instance better be enjoyable.

When daggers get to keep the int -0.1 stat i will cry.. i wanted the chaos crosser so bad but they removed it for this version and i hope this time it stays.

@asterelle i was wondering the same. Such strange decisions that they bring back sword, dual sword and blade.... But no dual blade?

Not that i like dual anything i hate the look >.< blade though....

Too bad no slingshots i think those are awesome.

There's G17-blade? Kitty only spotted sword and dual swords from the images in this thread o.o The blade means poleblade, Kitty understands correctly? At least there was a poleblade among the images, in the hands of a male BM.​​

Non-stashable weapons, though, till now I used my +10 wand on all of my magic chars (I have an account with 8 casters on, 6 or which could use it) and that was a pain to refine, but manageable and worth it, when I thought I could use it on so many characters. But with this, I guess +5-7 will we enough for all the weapons needed.
I'm not really off put, though, I can make due, and I have had what, 2 years already of use out of my current gear (armor, looks like it, won't be replaced for at least another year), and that's more than most games have to offer.
I mean, look at Neverwinter, they pop out 2-3 modules a year and change gear you need to refine each time, now that is extremely counter productive in making your player base want to work on a weapon to be used 3-4 months. ​​

I cant wait for G17 I just wonder what they are gonna do with the r9 weapons if they are gonna get a R10 or a recast xD. I cant wait to see what the new sythe looks like tho<3.

The blade is this one. Compare the word at the top to the pwdb-cn entry for blades.

An afterthought this doesn't look like something that would be released to our version. We could see a third stage Warsoul but it probably won't have those stats.

I would presume 4~8 months from now a new rank set would be out. Or they will allow r999 people to bypass the lower tiers to get the weapon, no clue, but something will come up.

Everyone is already going to farm 5-10 weaps of highest grade I see. Are you sure it will be that cheap? Remember how many ppl farmed r9r before nw came out and devaluated crystals? Though pwe can make an easier way to obtain them as it often does, but you can't know for sure yet ​​

China servers have always been more grindy, they know we here aren't gonna no life farm it that hard, so they may make it easier to obtain.

Saying that the r8rr wep is ridiculous, so maybe not.

r8rr wep would be 10x easier to farm if the mats were simply tradeable without the use of cash shop items. Hell, there'd probably be a decent new market if they were.​​

The Rank 8 recast wep in QSM is roughly the same difficulty to farm as it was to farm a nirvana weapon.

So the 80 defense level weapon will make all the other defense level weapons obsolete?

Watching Mel's livestream, and it seems weapons are gonna be 100% farmable. As far I could understand, you get first grade by doing the house system quest, and farm the higher ranks in new instance. The house system quest thingy requires Lv90+, 1st culti of sage/demon and 35k rep.
The instance is this one https://youtube.com/watch?v=6r7EnPAVnps and entrance is at a npc underwater at Shoka Sanctuary. It's a 10-man instance (I dont know if you can be less) and require Astral Sky 10+

Also there seems to be a pvp arena (revamped?) rewards like A packs, MoG, Ancient Emblems, primal blood/purple blood, and I saw some helms too with same icon as base helmet, but I think they were different.

Dont quote me on anything though Dx it was hard enough to understand anything when everything is explained in russian!​​

But please PLEASE dont make it like FSP.. once a day from quests. that a huge bummer when it comes out like this.
I wanna smack my keyboard 24hours when x2 hits the server in the instance and be rich (sorta) after or atleast feel good ​​

Based on this picture
you need 11019 mats to get your G17 to G17 cast 5. I have a feeling that this instance will be a hard one , only 1 time per day you can enter and probaby you will get like 10 mats per run or so.

That would be terrible.
I saw the items i need yea but we dont know how often you can do the instance, how many materials you get each run/day and how rare the mats are which you dont need too many from.
So i dont know if i aim for those or should stick with my r9 weapon. the weapons itself look awesome but when its impossible to farm like warsoul was back when NW wasnt a thing its something only a handful of people will get across all servers.​​

I'd like to know for sure if we're getting these weapons or not too. I was working on making the warsoul pataka tyressus power and I had farmed almost all the warsoul mats through NW until they changed that recently and now i feel kind of screwed over for farming tokens. Not to mention I still need more for the recast plus Seal of War which are going up in price as a result too.

Obviously the new weapons won't be easy to obtain but if they are that much better i just want to know if i should wait to upgrade and save my resources or continue NW for a few tokens every week. I have very delicate sense of motivation and pwi seems to always know how to crush it..

Also that glaive design looks awesome!

We won't be getting this for a few months at least. Ultimately, I think it will depend on how long it will take to farm the wep up to a stage equivalent to a Warsoul wep. If it's going to take awhile, I don't see why not make the Warsoul one so long as you don't bind it. But if it's the opposite, I'd just stick with g16 for now.

The one thing I'm guessing would not be smart to invest in atm is r9 since this wep just feels like a precursor to them releasing armor as well. -___- Unless they just intend these to be the new Warsoul.​​
