I actually notice a lot more objects rendering as I approaching them, as if the draw distance was reduced.... Before the patch I had liquid smooth frame rates (except for one foggy spot in the tutorial area), after the patch I still have smooth frame rate...but the quality seems a little diminished....

Maybe instead of bashing him for playing the game differently than you, perhaps you should give him some advice on how to better his game....unless you "didn't knew that."

I am a strong believer in not nerfing ANY class, if classes are not balanced...buff the under powered classes... That said...if skills and abilities functioned differently in PvP than in PvE this would also not be an issue. I had a hard time getting through a story dungeon today, that was a first. Usually the fights are fast and with enough challenge to be fun..but today I spent the entire boss fight running away to chug potions and pick off adds that kept endlessly respawning.
