On the previous stream, you asked where the Roleplay crowd hangs out. The answer is the Moonstone Mask - because it's the only single-instanced place in the game. We would absolutely love to see other single-instanced zones where it's easy to find roleplayers in the same central hub, maybe something like the Driftwood…
Thank you so much for addressing the RP community! The Moonstone Mask is our primary hang-out, the only one really, but this is mainly due to the fact that it's the only single-instance zone in the game. A single-instance zone is vital for roleplay because you need to know that when you walk into the zone, you're seeing…
Gamer rage may be short-lived, but if there's one thing I've learned from working customer service over the years, it's this: It's much easier to make a customer happy to keep them, than to gain a customer back after you've lost them. These raging gamers will never be monetizing the company again, and I'm among them.…
I'm sorry but I don't buy this for a second. If they wanted to save the Foundry, they could have. This is nothing but an empty platitude to try to calm down their angry fanbase. It's not going to work.
I don't know if mods actually read these, but something has to be said. I have played this game since beta, paid for my VIP subscription and given this company hundreds of dollars over the last five years, all for one reason: Because I'm a part of the roleplay community, and the Foundry allows us to do something no other…
Update: From what I can tell it seems to be an issue with UI. I reset my UI to default and this problem went away. I have no idea -what- in the UI was causing it, but this does seem to fix the problem.
The Zoom function seems to be broken. I find my camera zoomed in all the way by default with no way to zoom back out. The mouse wheel doesn't work. If I exit the game completely and log back in, it'll let me play with the zoom function for maybe a few seconds before zooming all the way back in again. It's making the game…
I have the same problem. The Zoom function doesn't work at all. I've found that if I exit the game completely and come back in, I can zoom in/out for maybe a few seconds before it zooms all the way in and won't zoom out anymore. It makes the game virtually unplayable.
This happens to me on every character. When I'm in Inspect Mode I can't zoom in, or it zooms in all the way, and then I can't zoom out again. I have to completely exit Inspect Mode. Has this problem been addressed? Because it wasn't always this way. You used to be able to zoom in gradually when in inspect mode.
THANK YOU. This needs to be addressed and changed ASAP. I just was trying to send a help ticket about how I couldn't complete a quest, and it kept saying I couldn't send the ticket because it contained profanity! After lots of hair-pulling I realized it's because it had the word "complete" in it!! This is the stupidest…

I cannot believe this hasn't been brought up yet. Why in the world, why on God's green earth, would you restrict the use of the letters "com"? I understand you're trying to cut down on gold spammers, but this is an absolutely terrible way to go about it. I just tried to send a GM help ticket because I couldn't complete a…
It may come as a surprise to some people (and to Cryptic too evidently, judging by the things they've decided to make a priority) that Neverwinter actually has a pretty decent sized roleplay community. One of the things that made this game great, and that gave it an edge over other MMOs for the purposes of roleplay, was…

Every evening when I try to play this game, it takes forever to log in (or just times out), and if I do get in I receive a Server Not Responding message every few seconds. It is completely unplayable, and I would like to know how to fix this, because I enjoy this game very much. Here is my Tracert results: Microsoft…
So I called Cogentco, on that number that was given. Here is a summary of my call: Me: Yes, hello. I'm a customer playing a Perfect World Entertainment game, Neverwinter Online, and many of us have been having connection issues due to a problem with Cogentco. Do you know anything about this? Representative: Do they have a…
Echoing Frosticheart's sentiment. I'm having the exact same problem everyone else is. As a paying customer (who has spent probably several hundred dollars on Zen since this game released), I expect a certain degree of quality from the game, and a certain quality of customer service from the people who represent the company…
I seriously cannot believe there are people here who are saying "Just RP if you want to RP", as if that's something that just sort of "happens" on any kind of noticeable scale. And yes... this ABSOLUTELY DOES rest squarely on the shoulders of the Devs, because we have poured actual money into this game for this very…
Just heard the WONDERFUL news that the Halloween event vendor is going to be in the Moonstone as well... I think we're noticing a pattern here! That pattern being that all of the event vendors will be there from now on... and more importantly, that Cryptic clearly doesn't give a #$#*&$ about the RP community!! I know you…
I am in full support. I have noticed a trend, which is that Cryptic is gradually taking away the ability of players to make AD in game, to force us to spend money on Zen to convert. I understand the need of a game to make money, but it's getting a bit ridiculous.
Oh, and another thing! A D&D game without any kind of a roll function? Are you kidding me?? We need some kind of "/roll20" to roll a d20 in various situations, or something... ANYTHING, to let players roll dice in RP situations.
I absolutely concur. Neverwinter has the "Dungeons and Dragons" name on it. You are putting forth a game that, by association, should be all about roleplaying. We don't even have an emote to be able to lay down without committing suicide! There are so many things that seem like they would be simple fixes. And I absolutely…
