  • I own a Stormraider Clydesdale and can confirm that this has not been fixed yet. Would be nice to get the old summon animation back.
  • What Becky said. Once they make a news post about the event on Arc we'll know exactly what will be in store for us.
  • Demonic HEs on the stronghold map don't drop Influence so my guild doesn't bother with them. So no, we don't like having them. A lot of good ideas swimming around here. Here's hoping they get implemented.
  • I'm perfectly fine with the cost. As long as my hard work is guaranteed the reward of an actual power point, I'm fine. Sure beats grinding out multiple level ups only to be presented with some Tomes of Companion Exp, and a handful of cheap enchantments.
  • Wow, that is actually really disappointing. Sure makes my purple mount feel useless. Thank you for clearing that up for me. Figures. Not unexpected, to be honest. Thanks for the warning.
  • Ditto. I would like my rimfire spewing sled back.
  • Welcome back. To answer your question about Paladins they can either be tanks or healers (depending on paragon path) and they bring an alternate flavor to healing/tanking that's different to DCs and GFs. CW and GWF are still viable classes to play. I've been playing CW since mod 3 and it's still fun although we don't Dps…
  • Nice post. The Vault of the Nine Quest is actually available to your alts at lvl 60 and the quest giver is no longer located in IWD but has been moved to Protectors Enclave. Or at least that's how it was last time I checked.
  • I agree. I've been lucky to obtain the various books off the auction house during times when they were cheap, but the amount of Linu favors required is still staggering.
  • I believe that's due to the fact that they recently made all Artifact weapons be "always x2 RP" when above rank 15 (correct me if I'm wrong). Not your fault as Neverwinter has been horrible at keeping their wiki up to date. But otherwise the website is correct. Legendary Weapon Artifact is worth 929,432. x2 for putting it…
  • http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Artifact_weapon Go here. Near the bottom of the page there's a rank progression table. It'll tell you how much rp is need to achieve each rank and how much rp it's worth when fed into another artifact equipment. You can use that to calculate exactly how far a legendary will get you (make…
  • Changes to Tarmalune Trade Bar were great. I also enjoyed the Salvatore quest line and some of the creativity implemented in those areas (chasing down a drunken orc lol). For once I felt like I was reliving the lvl 1-60 questline were the quests actually interested me. A nice step back up from the trash quests we got in…
  • I honestly don't know why they didn't have the elemental motes added to the epic dungeon/skirmish rewards instead of the HEs. Do a T1, get some motes. Do a T2, get even more. Bingo, no more scampering around maps and constantly switching instances. Grinding is annoying enough as it is without having to do that.
  • I'm pretty sure this same question was posed to a Dev awhile back and the answer was the same you just gave. So I'm pretty sure you are correct.
  • GF - Desperate Survival: Fully Broken (At Rank 4 this power significantly increases your stamina consumption (regardless of HP) instead of reducing it) It's been months since I last tested this one but, as I haven't seen any mentions of a fix in the patch notes since, I assume it's still broken.
  • Since I can't get AD from leadership then what I would like to get is 1) More XP (to help get extra power points faster) 2) stronghold vouchers (ie surplus equipment/astral diamond/gems) Maybe the second one wouldn't be such a good idea as stated above, but at the very least increasing XP revenue would help Leadership…
  • Pretty much agree with you on this. What bothers me the most is the complete and utter lack of quality in these game changing updates. They take a swift ax to the problem but the much needed salves and bandages aren't applied for an arbitrary number of weeks while the player base suffers.
  • I managed to get the 3rd tier reward using only a blue mount with about 15s to spare so I'm pretty sure a green/white mount could do it. I think it's set up so that using a higher quality mount isn't required, it only increases your margin of error.
  • This is awesome. Thanks for listening to us on this. :) Strum, can you confirm whether or not the difficulty changes apply to lvl 71-73 creatures? Thanks.
  • I'm also the leader of a small 4-man guild of family members (so no desire to let strangers in) and have been wondering about this exact issue. I completely appreciate the fact that such a small guild should not be able to achieve everything a large guild can, or even most for that manner. That just wouldn't be fair. But…
  • Now there's an idea with a bandwagon I could hop onto! It even provides an opportunity to make several professions useful for once. I wouldn't even care if they block the stronghold specific tasks from the gateway as long as it provided an alternative means to gather Surplus Equipment and Influence.
  • What instynctive said x100. Surplus Equipment requirements are especially daunting for my small sized guild. Green gear dropped from mobs only gives 5 pts apiece and doesn't stack in our inventory like other resources making accumulation of said resource very slow and arduous. Only epic equipment gives a reliable amount of…
  • I agree with Eion here. My GF is built to gain Action Points as fast as possible. Feats such as Action Surge and Martial Mastery really help in this regard (when enemies slam me with powerful attacks I can raise my shield and my action point gauge will refill very, very quickly). I can pop Fighter's Recover whenever I need…
  • Hey! You guys removed Swordmage from the poll. It was pretty popular choice in the previous polls. I guess this is because this class hasn't been translated from 4e to 5e. Well I'm still voting SWORDMAGE/SPELLSWORD. But in all seriousness I think the next class will turn out to be the Druid. We already have 4 striker…
  • I don't Pvp so I can only speak from a Pve perspective. Whichever Weapon Enchantment you decide to use will depend on how you want to support your party. Enchantments such as Bilethorn and Bronzewood focus on increasing your personal dps and thereby improving your ability to pull aggro on enemies. Enchantments such as…
  • Well, if your PVPing, then yeah, there are way better options. I was speaking from a PVE perspective where party buffs are handy. Guess I should have specified that. Sorry. Bronzewood is a pretty powerful debuff (and it's cheap on the AH to boot). The only downside is that half the time you're in combat it's on cooldown.
  • I use Holy Avenger myself.
  • Don't forget to plug Azure enchantments into all your utility slots. Rank 5s are dirt cheap on the AH and will get you up to around 20% bonus XP gain. Makes a big difference post lvl 60.
  • I don't think I agree with that. I've always felt that we CWs only get action points from dealing damage NOT because we're strikers, but because getting action points from using encounters as well would render our AP gain OP (don't forget that extra encounter slot). As a CW I feel that my CC abilities often take precedence…
  • Gonna have to agree with suicida here. There are a lot of people who don't bother to read the news, so it'll be awhile before the new system mechanics begin to sink in and the trigger-happy kickers go "doh!"
