He's way better than the TSW mods. If you want to see an example of terrible, power-mad mods, check out those forums. There's really only one that's bad but she's so bad she drove my entire guild to NWO. In 18 years of MMOs and reading forums daily, she's the only mod I've ever had issue with.

I would double-check that you're both on the same server. I've had people swear to me that they're on Mindflayer but I couldn't invite them to party or guild. Every single time it turned out they weren't actually on Mindflayer, they only thought they were.

You can change your FoV, so that might work for you. Simply type /gfxsetdefaultfov xy (/gfxsetdefaultfov 80 for example) in the chatbar. I think most people have a bad experience or two with a guild and brand them all the same. If you keep looking you can find a good guild. I found one in The Secret World and now we stay together and try games out as a group. It's worth it when you find the guild that suits your play style.

If it's going to annoy you when others use the same name you pick, next time you make a character use your imagination instead of just copying a character's name from a popular comic book. Problem solved.

If you're getting them from the Gateway, the rough AD you have is automatically refined for you when you login to the game. There's a Dev post about it somewhere but I think that's how it works.

It's not as bad as it first looks. I sell the Rank 2 items for well over what a Dragon Egg costs so even with what I count as a failure, I still make a profit. It keeps the profession people making enough money to stay interested but doesn't flood the market with Rank 3 items so quickly.

Yeah, my favorite boss encounters are those few with the genius mechanics of 'insane amounts of adds that constantly spawn so there's no end to them until the boss dies'. Oh and those others with the constant swarm of red circles that you have to move out of. They. Are. Awesome. *Snore*

I did this a few weeks ago and love the new loading speeds but be aware that you'll download around 3 GB of data the first time you load the game after doing this. It's worth it, but there is a wait.

Your companion scroll should still be in your inventory. Canceling a rename shouldn't delete it. Check your bags and if it's really missing, petition and be ignored for ever. Sorry, but the Customer Service in NWO is really, really bad.

You can buy a companion at any time for, I think, 2 gold. You get the quest for a free one at level 16, from Sgt. Knox in Protector's Enclave.

I did the normal Lair of the Mad Dragon twice this weekend. Once with my 60 GF while helping a level 31 cleric friend with it. I remember this thing. It was in the Monster Manual II. Couldn't you forge a +5 Vorpal Sword from one of its teeth or something crazy like that? And iirc to kill it permanently you had to slay it then use 3 wishes worded correctly... Crazy monster but very epic.
