If it's not an error then they just wanted to use it as an excuse to charge people 100k ad for the item, if even winners aren't getting it free, silence only makes them look more suspicious
Please give Damnation some love, it was my favourite build because I adore pet classes but after the fixes it's pretty much a liability in every way if you decide to play it in group content, so much so that I gradually started to drift away from the game. It's been about half a year since I've last played, but if you were…
I don't think so, I will try later though and let you know if it does. Btw, these forums are fairly quiet, I personally prefer the Neverwinter Reddit, you'll get answers to questions like these much quicker.
The buffs stack up to about 23 times or so. As HB I use Brood of Hadar, it's the best single target daily we have. Accursed Souls is good for AOE damage, not a fan of Phlegethos, prefer brood personally for single target, and Gates of Hell/Accursed souls are better for AOE.
Killing flames is just insane, especially when an enemy is missing HP and it crits, you can pump out some really crazy numbers with it, plus it's another soul investiture move for you (when you use it to kill an enemy it will power up your soul puppet, keep an eye out for abilities that summon soul puppets, if you use one…
They both have good lifesteal, but SB is tankier due to lifesteal and the healing effect of soulsparks, so it has much better survivability than HB, which is more recommended when your level/gear score is a lot higher. For your at wills you want hellish rebuke levelled up ASAP, it is your best at-will and is a beast, spam…
I honestly think HB Damnation would be the better of the two, Damnation is no longer a power house but at least HB provides access to good buff/debuffing utility
Yes, I know, I loved the puppet based playstyle of Damnation and miss it dearly, but I'm just being realistic. They've been slapping everything with the nerf bat lately and the owlbears effect on pillar of power is a HUGE damage increase, I can't see them letting this fly for too much longer.
I thought I was the only one that still liked Damnation, can pump out really good damage if you change around 1 or 2 feats from the older builds. good read
They still need to do a lot of work to balance out the class and it's various paths, all they've really done so far is get everyone to drop SB damnation and take up HB fury instead, and that'll probably change to SB fury once the TC changes come in..
Whats so good about the blue horse? I have 120 tokens right now and looking for a companion that I actually like to take to legendary, or close to it. I couldn't stomach looking at an archon for the rest of my neverwinter life.
You're misunderstanding me, I did not say damnation is not good in solo play, I said if a class is ONLY good in solo, or ONLY good in groups, there is a problem with the class and it needs fixing. An idea I have is to stick the changes onto some of the final feats, like soul desecration, so that if players want to use…
All classes/builds should be decent in solo and in dungeons, if the devs looked at damnation and said the build is for solo players and left it as it is that wouldn't cut it. I honestly don't really mind the damage output right now, could be better, but its average, it's not meant to be played the way it was played in mod…
It shouldn't just be 'the average' path though, if you read the feat tree description it talks about helping allies and weaking enemies with curses, damnation does none of that. I'm not asking for damnation to be put on par with fury, but it needs some kind of feature, be it dps or support of some kind which sets it apart…
