All characters will be eligible for the new paths. Even if you level past 30, you'll still be able to respec for the new paragons.

Apparently dead gods can return. Amaunator is one of the deities in NW, but as I recall in the original Baldur's Gate he was a dead/ forgotten god. One of the quests even released him to his death.

This is why I mainly suggested them in Sharandar. All of the leveling areas are quick completions, so to me a box at the start of the zones is unnecessary. Level caps are necessary for any non tabletop game. Since your abilities and whatnot are attached to said level, there needs to be some way to even the field. Whenever I see this threads I can only shake my head. What many tend not to understand is that value is subjective. If someone is willing to pay the price, it is considered valuable. If noone will pay then the OP could have a point of there being no value.

I want to see a pvp team formed that ride in on their pigs and only use waterballoons to fight. I know they'll get annihilated everytime, but I would laugh everytime. A video of said team would be entertaining as well.

Bags, respec, additional characters are not required to beat the game. They only make it easier to play or faster to beat. Free to play just means that you can finish without spending anything. The zen/AD exchange is like the stock market. It will go up when there is a big sale in the zen store or a new module is released. Prices will drop again as people stop buying zen. I sold all of my zen a little earlier than I should have at 370, but am waiting for 330 or below to buy again.

Zen is 100 for $1. So the $100 may not be the best per se, but you would still be getting 600 zen for free.
