Finally the Devs respect their own and former Devs hardwork and love for the game and implement a Dynamic Scaling of all End-Game-Sets. I´m pretty sad about all the hardwork former Devs and older players already put into the game and that this seems to mean nothing to the progress the game is taking. Why should anyone farm…
Hi @scmk3000, you´re welcome and I´ll try to aswer your question(s). First of all: Your progress looks great - keep it up man! You mentioned the artifact and belt of the Imperial Dragon set (chance to deal 25% of weapon dmg as fire dmg). I haven´t done the math and haven´t tested the dmg output of the set but it seems to…
@thefabricant Well mate... you´re absolutely right! I stopped calculating the exact output of every power of each class and so on. Guess we all remember the great work from Kaelac and all our other testing fellows. I also still have several formulae in my excel sheets. But is it really worth doing the exact calculation at…
Hi there... @eloyn Thx mate. I don´t run with an augment companion like an ioun stone anymore. When I ran with a stone I preferred the "Red Dragon Ioun Stone" - just for the cool look. You can also use the "Ioun Stone of Radiance". I don´t recommend any of the others. Even the active bonuses of the Dragon/Radiance Stones…
Update: I changed the summoned companion to Dragonborn Raider instead of Zhentarim Warlock - just because of the 3rd off slot. Further more I added the Owlbear Cub to the list of active companions. @jaegernl I think it really depends on the party you´re running with. The Lostmauth Set deals nice dmg - even you´re only at a…
HR: the active bonus of the Owlbear Cub only procs at the first, initial non-crit encounter hit, no dot dmg. SW Soulbinder: the active bonus procs extremly rare, even with a pwr build (~40% crt). SW mechanics build up crt too fast. I can´t say if the bonus procs only on the initial or all encounter hits/dots. (We recorded…
well... gwf might b the worst class for the Owlbear Cub. i just made some quick testings with my OP. it procs as expected (or feared). next i will test on my HR cuz of the perma encounter and "perma" dot usage. also my mates will test it on their SWs/CWs. the conclusion might b a change in crt vs. pwr thinkings for the…
thx for your testings, mate. i was wondering about the same - does it proc on every non-crit hit, especially on dot hits? great you already did the testings. i totally agree with you saying its not worth the price.
Hey palehorseone, you´re welcome. I didn´t want to write a guide cuz there are many out there already explaining how the Paladin works. The most important stats -after reaching the primary objective of an OP Paladin, protect the entire party- are HP and pwr... for my understanding of the role and mechanics of the Paladin.…
Hey armadeonx, Pro Tip: Move your a**! :D Well... sure you can activate Binding Oath again... and again... and again. But if you´re exploding before both are almost down and can´t stand the self-destructive dmg... your team might be HAMSTER up as well. I don´t like this kamikaze playstyle but it´s always an option. Your…
Hi armadeonx, you´re welcome. 1. Screenshots: I´m really hoping the pictures are visible, especially the big one. If not leave me a hint, pls. 2. Stats: You´ve to "decide" whether to run with an augment stone or with an active companion, that´s why I posted a screenshot of both stat ratings. It really depends on YOUR…
Thanks mate! As you know the value of dmg output of any of those on-damage-taken enchants depends on the hits you suffer. I run the test runs with my guild mates who are also or almost maxed out. Fast killing means less damage to me = less dmg output of the enchants. I´m running with Burning Light what makes the Briartwine…
Hi there, Well... all and everything depends on YOUR playstyle. Soulforged: ...is a simple "give it another try" enchantment - nothing else, no other benefits. Wonder why Paladins think of using this enchant?! It´s only useful in case of playing the "binding oath bomb style". But this playstyle is all but team orientated…
The Negation enchantment gives higher def rates which leads to a lower dmg income and with that to a lower dmg output from Binding Oath. As long as you don´t lack of recovery - you don´t need or even want the Negation armor enchantment...
plague fire gives a 3/6/9% dmg buff in pve there aint many maps/dungeons where you need 60% ri (when im right its only tiamat atm...). check your ingame logs or run act to "test" it on your own. so that you are one of the dd-classes (sadly) - dont go with plague fire or terror, that are enchant for support classes. better…
another rotation can be: Divine Protector - Binding Oath - Templar´s Wrath - Burning Light 1. Bubble up 2. Absorb damage, stay at 100% HP (important when using an Earth Archon) and boost your power (self- and groupbuff (when using Aura Gifts)) 3. Get temporary HP to stay at 100% HP 4. Damage - Burning Light does NOT proc…
As far as I know and tested with act the bosses have about 40% DR - also dungeon ones. I haven´t been able to get some nice data from Tiamat yet... Effectiveness does not go above 140% until there are no other buffs. I dunno yet why some hits deal less effective dmg than others (comparing HRs ranged and melee at-wills,…
This HAMSTER lag is killin me! It´s not about the graphics. My default is >maxed all< and I ran very good and fluently through the game. Even lower the graphics down to all LOW - nothing changes (but the quality^^). I have a delay of 2-3 secs sometimes. Skills and healing pots don´t proc. At…
According to my Resistance Ignored of about 40% with old equip, effectivenesses of 96.5%/96%/105% with Vorpal/Terror/Plague and my knowledge that Vorpal has to be 100%, Terror 104% and Plague 109% ... the dummies have to have about 44% ?! (and dmg buff of tTerror has to be doubled?!) ... and when the dummies show the…
That needs to be explained... when I´m right the +9% HP from toughness in M6 gives much more HP compared to M5. 40k HP in M5 +Thoughness = about +3.6k HP 100k HP in M6 +Thoughness = about +9k HP Sure... at L70 you will have like zero def and the +9k HP will be vanishing in a blink of an eye... but... what´s you advice…
Do we have a final answer if Double RP events will ever happen again? I just can remember that there was a suggestion to wipe out such events... Would be nice to get that answer - so that everyone can plan his/her way of getting along with the RP mats and bag/bank space.
Remember the words from our devs: "One day... one day... (shake fists)" The enchantments story will be one of the most long lasting ever. Til yesterday I can´t say the enchants really work correctly. For example: with Plague Fire enchantment - Rampaging Madness procs Stat_HealthSteal (including the visuals) instead of…
Well... when I count the numbers and calculate with an outgoing crt chance of 50% - the vorpal finally lines up with the other dmg enchants. It takes about 75% crt chance to become the max damaging enchant. (in case the devs get them working like the tooltips reveal) And for sure the tVorpal has to be finished - how ever.…
Deflection vs. Dodge Deflection ain´t Dodge - it might be more clear if we call it Block, cuz you don´t evade any attack by deflecting a hit - just block a certain amount at certain times. But I also wanna point out again that this is something for class balancing! HRs / RHs have to be one of the most agile class in game.…
Are there any plans to adjust, repair and rework the weapon/armor ENCHANTMENTS ? I just tested the transcendent versions of Vorpal, Plague Fire, Terror and Bilethorn. (500 shots of Rapid Fire at 1 (2) dummy with a legendary L70 Main-Hand - avg weap dmg ~1,367) With a crt output of about 54% the Vorpal hit 1st place, Plague…
Ouch... what happend now?! Just ran some testings in open field yesterday with transcendent enchants and was surprised I couldn´t one-shot em anymore but died at some L69 mobs... Until this patch a non-fully charged RH was able to almost one-shot everything and was able to easily kill the big ones. I was able to run some…
