Clueless. The big ones take too long, that is why they weren't being done. The mid-size HE's were likewise very inefficient already, and now, with the rewards nerfed, it won't be worth it still. These sporadic larger HE's will never generate enough RP for players to make them worth doing for the long haul to level…
GC - Can you please explain more why you would not then go back and re-evaluate the encounter powers that you nerfed back before mod 3 that required this compensatory buff to storm spell? Most of us would have preferred not having to rely on this crutch to make up lost damage. This is too large of a nerf, and stormspell…
I sat in PE last night during DD hour seeing 1 or 2 /LFG messages for dungeons - that's it. The same few people over and over, It was very disheartening. I used to have to sit there and massively expand my chat windows just to keep up with the scrolling page of people looking for groups. Last night was the worst I have…
You obviously have no idea the level of control resistance of mobs in T2's. 1 second is about as much control as you get on any "control" ability. And you need to get this idea out of your head that "control" wizards should be controlling/cc'ing. That would be like me saying "trickster" rogues need to be tricking enemies.…
Does anyone not remember the reason that stormspell was buffed in the first place? Let me remind you: It was because all of our CW powers were massively nerfed. Buffing stormspell was like a little bone to try and help. Now, stormspell is nerfed without a re-examination of the encounter power nerfs that necessitated the…
I'm not buying it. There are too many variables at play to successfully farm any RP using a bot. Show me a video or I think this is simply your imagination
Not true. He's right about 2k on the nose being too low, but if you get in the 2500 range and up and at least have a greater or better weapon enchant and some form of armor enchant, and have some level of proficiency in your character, you will most likely be ok. I run t2's consistently and easily with a 2800 ilvl, and…
Nice troll post, but if true, the problem is you, not the class or the game. You should be facerolling the solo content in the level 73 zones you mentioned.
The root of the problem continues to be the still ridiculous concept of artifact equipment requiring RP to level. Go back to a system where the best loot drops from dungeon bosses.
Since the dragon hoard RP is bound, how does this do anything but harm legitimate players? I thought the whole point in making the RP bound was that so legit players could farm their faces off if they chose to level up their artifacts?
Actually yes, you should. You shouldn't be able to just throw your character together with random mishmash of armor, and no thought to your powers or tactics and expect to faceroll the new content. You should be expected to need to strategize, optimize your stats, look for weaknesses in your character, or your own…
This is not in any way true. How much you get as a function of levels? maybe, but not as a function of raw RP, which is what you should really care about.
This post was about solo content - dailies in particular, not epic dungeons. And I agree that they are doable now with just the basic blue gear (WOD eternal set, or the quest rewards from new zones), and reasonable skill. I gather that the complainers are those who just rush back into IWD with their old builds and…
OP is not right at all. Nobody has demanded that DC's respec. Instead, players ask that for the common good of ALL other players, that during the Tiamat encounter, DC's refrain from using one or 2 abilities. Is it that hard? Can you not adapt your playstyle for one single encounter that is incredibly mechanical and easy at…
That's all well and good when BiS gear dropped from dungeons, but when you have to create your gear via this horrible refining system, which them becomes obsolete when the level cap raises, that's an entirely different animal altogether.
I am looking at it in terms of both the stats, and the 4/4, or even the 2/4. I know stat-wise it has a higher total number of stats, but I just can't get over how stupid the 4/4 bonus is on a PVE armor set. I am running out of things to farm, and tiamat is boring me to pieces, so I was really hoping trying to farm this…
Yes, but the RP value would need to be higher. Black opal at least, with a chance for 2x black opal or something. Then, maybe a really low chance for a ruby, or even better, a super low chance - like artifact belt % for a diamond
In what world should a heavier-armored GWF EVER do more damage than a caster or ranged class? This is how it should be. You trade off better defense and armor for less damage, as in every other game - ever.
it is definitely worth it. They are very cheap, and you will not have to worry about replacing your weapon until level 60. Once you hit 60, you will want to run the phantasmal fortress lair in the dread right for the thayan pact blade, which is a good power boost until you can get a t2 mainhand.
Not by a longshot. A full fury warlock running the right rotation on a boss with creeping death procs will do significantly more damage to a boss than a similarly geared/enchanted CW. I have a 17k CW and 17k SW, both with Pvorp, and I can say this from experience - AND that is running focused wizardry on my CW. (+30%…
It would depend solely on the AGE of the dragon. Dracolich could have been created from a younger dragon, and would hence have weaker dragon powers than lostmauth, who seems to be portrayed as an older, or ancient red dragon. No matter the lich powers draco has, it wouldn't compare against an older dragon. I have to assume…
I don't see the problem with this. It was too easy fighting them one at a time. It is a much more entertaining fight when you are fighting them both at once.
The problem with Hubris is that I just don't see dark spiral as being very good. It is great when there are 3+ spheres up, but unless you are killing something, you aren't generating more spheres. Hellish rebuke being on and ticking constantly is better overall sustained dps. So if you like the stats on Hubris, great, but…
