I suspect at some point special zones will be created with extreme hazards that must be negotiated... by special mounts. Perhaps a large fire/lava zone which requires the use of fire immune mounts (theoretically the Nightmare or soemthing equivalent) to traverse. Just my two coppers on the subject.
I was thinking... why not disable the kick option the moment you get to final boss? If you were able to get that far into the dungeon you've already got a pretty good team (or were just plain lucky). This would prevent greedy team leaders from simplay kicking the player any time during the fight (such as if the boss was…
I can see it now... the best set of armor in the game will end up being.... a Speedo (for males) and the Bikini Set (for females). Yep. I can see a few players rejoicing when that happens. ;)
Well, you can always buy the Courtesan clothing from the Z store. It looks impressive and you can wear it in your fashion slot. I'd like to know if you dye Z-Store Fashion though...
I agree with that much. It's harder at lower levels and sometimes you become a liability to the PUG (Pick Up Group) you find yourself in. What level would be best for Neverwinter's Call to Arms skirmishes?
On the downside, you can't trade them to anyone else. But who cares. You can create new characters and not worry about grinding out 5 gold or 5000 Astral Diamonds (the going price I saw last time on the AH) for a common mount when you hit level 20.
Yep. Been in there. Seen a few players who wanted the Alerts restricted to max level characters, though.. which didn't make sense because they were for gaining XP, which max level characters don't need and can't use. I'm glad I'm not seeing max level players demanding it here, though it is a (small) possibility.
And now that character slots are on sale, I can create that handsome half elf Trickster Rogue named "Knockout". Except that he doesn't transform into a Britishesque sports car (apparently the one in Prime transforms into an Aston Martin type car) and he won't be ambiguously into guys... Yeah... the fact that he wolf…
My workaround for this is to take the item, then click on an email I've already opened (such as the emails I get for race/class specific quests), then switch back to the email that held the attachment. THEN delete it. If that message shows up again, make absolutely sure that you've taken the item, then try again (yep...…
At least they're treated better than when Starscream had clones. He made 5 of them, sent them out on a suicide mission, then murdered the survivor when he returned...
Ah... this brings back memories of Star Wars Galaxies before they tried to "fix" it. Where you had to be buffed by a medic before even attempting to put armor on...
Hmmm.... Let's hope that when this thing starts some groups of high level players don't start demanding that these Call to Arms skirmishes be level locked. There were calls for this in Champions Online where people wanted the Alert event to be level locked and peope of certain levels to be locked out of them.
Um.... none. I'm waiting for Phantasy Star 2 Online. And still playing STO (I'm more Sci Fi bent, but have always been a fan of the Forgotten Realms). :)
I personally have faith that something is being done. You just have a HUGE backlog of tickets to deal with at the moment. Hang in there. I hope the Foundry becomes the largest jewel in the crown we call Neverwinter. :)
And to think... this is how I viewed Helm's Hold before they reduced the spawn rate of devils around the Dirty Old Dwarf... I guess the devils loved that name.
Maybe this is some kind of business strategy. Make Companions expensive and hard to get, and as soon as the playerbase desire for them is about to explode into a riot, they not only suddenly become account unlocks and cheaper, but the Zstore is suddenly flooded with new Companions to further entice "Companion Collectors"…
Waitaminute... isn't this event over already? I do miss the rewards, but never got to try for a lot of the boxes. Real Life events pulled me away from the game during most of the event. T_T
eh... I buy Zen with my AD. If I need AD for something I just buy AD with the Zen I have. Sure I lose some AD in the process, but all the characters on my account have access to AD as long as I have the Zen to pay for it. :)
Maybe someone on the Forum with the real life skill in Tailoring will have a go at that... :) Even worse... it could be a companion that only offers services, mailing at first then the others as it gains rank. And it would be a Purple quality companion who only offers the Potion/Kit/Profession Resource/Asset selling…
Instead of saving for a T3 mount, I got a T2. Sure he's not as fast a Warhorse as the T3 one, but if anything any new characters I create will have access to it when they hit the proper level. Now I'm saving for the T3 Warhorse (I'm not fond of the more expensive fancy mounts such as the Tigers and Bears... and I bet…
The few people who completed the content did get some benefit. The benefit of being FIRST to "win" the game. Probably to stoke their egoes in the belief that they can lord over the rest of the playerbase that is still slogging at least midway through the content. They probably just followed the sparkly trail and blew…
