How do you know you are addicted to the foundry?

Here are a few clues (I know you guys got more so lets hear them!)

Your porch light is now "ambient lighting" and you think the blue torch would look way better.
When someone asks you where something is, and you answer with 415-4.5-218...
you decide it's lunch time, and realize its 9pm already and the sound still isnt right on your map...
You start responding to your family/friends in a dwarven accent. (pfft doesn't everybody?)
You log in every day and check your rating and tips before you invoke.
On your way down the hallway to the bathroom, you feel the urge to check for traps, when you dont find any, you plan where one should be.
When you have a bad dream, you select "god mode", and "reset map."
You stopped invoking all together - because it takes too long.
There is content outside of foundries???
You swear you are not crazy, you are completely normal- ..er...difficulty.

Hahha funny. I also do the following:

    1. Notice cool bushes/trees/structures while driving and think i'd like to find that tree/bush or build that structure in foundry.
    2. Talk about what i'd like to build in foundry on date night.
    3. Dream about falling off a 3 story foundry structure and post-dream tell myself to add double high crypt stairs next time

    ;o)
    Thanks,

    Dee

OK I have a couple hours before I have to go bed

...a few more trees over here maybe...
    and maybe some rocks...

OH! that would look awesome over here...

out of assets time to make a new map...

HAMSTER! I don't have time to shower before I go to work...

-Automatically making mental notes on how to Star Cryptic content... ...and even waiting for the review box to open up after the last boss of instances.
-Knowing almost every last asset in the asset library and spotting them in the official game.
-Spotting assets that are not in the library and wanting them/ knowing exactly where and in which of your maps you'd use it.
-Counting 'assets' when you're redecorating something in Real Life because you don't want to go over budget.
-Thinking it will be annoying to add a teleporter to your garden from the nearest respawn point when you're fencing your garden, but knowing you better do so if you don't want to get one-starred.

My Sign: Despite not wanting to start work on Act IV of The Dweomerkeepers until my Mage has reached level 60.... I started working on it the other night. *the mage grins wildly*

Yeah, I know, that's not really the theme here... but it is a clear sign I am addicted to the Foundry!

    To add to the Theme...

. . . . . While watching the Sinbad European Series, I was thinking the whole time how awesome these episodes would be in the form of Foundry Missions or even PnP Adventures.... (I really love that show)

    A BAD sign?

    In my case... it's this...

I'm to lazy to create children, yet I have energy to attempt making a Foundry quest.

    -_-
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"

"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*

----I very recently moved into my new apartment, so it was an "Empty Indoor Map" to start... :D I painfully climbed 3 stories to add assets onto it each time. I guess I could call the flights of stairs my "loading screen". What a painful loading screen. :( Designed each room with my "Foundry Eyes", so, yeah, I may have spent too much money on miscellaneous decor and plants...

----I also wish that I could rotate/translate cars out of my way during traffic.

----Foundry has become my default thinking, and my boyfriend always asks, "Are you thinking of Foundry stuff again?" when I'm quiet in the same room or car with him.

----I was watching Dexter the other day. During one of his visits to a crime scene, I wished that we had larger and more varied blood spatter projectors.

----I started calling my cat a "Quest [Objective] Marker". He's always in the way, right where I need to go or place something down.

Those are the ones I could think of right now! *sleepybrain*

I just tried to kill mobs with my GWF today using CTRL+Space. And for two seconds or so I was so suprised and thought the game/foundry was glitching, then I realized I was not in the foundry :)

I'm going to start doing that soon as well.
Also, if I'm working in the Foundry on a project, then I absolutely have to finish what I've started or I won't be able to sleep.
Just keep thinking about stuff to put in... Where... How... And how many kitties I can fit into one map. O.o

I overcame my Foundry addiction, and you can too! All you have to do is get addicted to something else, like alcohol, for instance.

Addiction? Pffft. I can quit anyt... ooh Foundry!

Hmm. Almost midnite...it should only take a couple of minutes to change those 15 patrol points a little higher, republish, and test it live again. Those Frost Goblins deserve to run up that siege tower and into the keep dammit!

    OK! *cracks knuckles*

-When your boyfriend tells you you should have some food, you snort and tell him you will add them when Cryptic adds more food assets.....non sarcastically and realizing he means you should eat because you've been editing for 14 hours straight.

-You dig out D&D source books and editing guides you haven't looked at since university, for reference..and memorize it with 400% more gusto than when you were studying

-You need to buy a trackball mouse...so you stop straining your wrist painstakingly positioning items in the 3D editing mode..and still managed to need a heat pack

-You have "wake up jittery and panting" nightmares about "Visible if" and "Appear/Disappear When"

    And finally

-You've played and reviewed almost 70 Foundries in about a week, and have no desire to stop.

whoops... reality check? nahhhh I think I just need to run another foundry :D

You know you are addicted to the foundry when you take your 7 year old outside and she says "Mommy, click the mouse to build my playhouse" or "Click the mouse to move my chair from this corner of the yard to this corner of the yard". I think maybe she is addicted to it as well, lol.

P.S. My personal favorite was "Click the mouse to make it rain!". :)

I know I've been on the Foundry too long when I go to bed and that 'music box' sound hidden in the portal sound effect haunts my dreams.
