So will the script be getting re-run to reimburse parcels for those of us stupid unfortunate enough to open them between when the servers were taken down for maintenance and when this reboot to re-apply the fix happened?
Ok, so in reading the OP, I agree this has to just be trolling. The OP indicates he/she knew the VIP ran out. Not the best troll I've seen, but good enough to get this many people talking about it. I give it 4/10.
It's the FIRST link, and Chrome translates pretty well now. http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=neverwinter+vip And from that page: "If your VIP time has expired, you will lose access to all loyalty benefits."
CW here, too, and you're correct. You can be extremely squishy if you're not built well. I'd encourage you to do a few things: 1) Join a guild (if you haven't already) - as valuable as these forums are, you'll find a lot more people who can help you work through any issues in-game, as it happens. Likewise, you should be…
Well, according to http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Underdark_Campaign#Currencies, it is a campaign currency, but I don't know how authoritative that page really is..
Except that they didn't. The problem was not that Cryptic took the servers down early. The problem was that Level 3, i.e. the freeway, had an outage. It's completely out of their control, so why should they have to accommodate for it?
All you paid for was in-game credits, which you got. I can tell this is just going to go back and forth and we're never going to agree, so Imma go play this game. You go ahead and rage at the passing clouds. More power to you, buddy.
And a store can sell you stuff at the sale prices, but where does it end? You're not just asking them to give you one more hour of 40% off, you're now asking for a whole weekend. You're not asking to be "made whole", you're asking for them double the length of a sale because you weren't able to make it there in the hour…
Okay. Imagine this... You leave your house at 8pm to go to a store on Black Friday that closes at 9, hoping to get a good deal. But, at the same time, there's a 5-car pileup on the freeway, and you're no longer able to make it there before they close. Would you actually go to the store the next day and demand that they…
I will have to look at the chat window next time. I just assumed they were passing because I won every roll and NO ONE has that much RNG luck in this game. And yeah, seen the same gear. All slots empty, all basic pick-up green/blues.
I usually don't mind running w/ bots, because they pass all loot rolls and my enchants get me a decent amount of rank 5s. That said, I have had occasions where there will be a bugged mob stuck in a wall or something, and the bots run up to it, try to kill it, and then get killed themselves because the mob can dish but not…
A thousand times this. Even having my gear and a few boons, I was consistently and rapidly converted to a puddle of goo in this zone. If you haven't been building up your boons and feats in a sensible and deliberate way, take the opportunity to re-spec before going into WoD or IWD.
I don't know that there's necessarily one that works "best", but I hit level 70 before completing all the campaigns and went back and did them in "order". If you do EE first, you may want to consider completing Spinward Rise before the others so you get the artifact weapon.
Console commands are here. I don't see anything about actually summoning the companion, though. Just bringing up the screen. http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Console_command
I wasn't allowed to patch until I freed up the space. The screen presented made it look like I was doing a fresh install, even though it was just the Liar's event patch.
The problem is, the game doesn't really NEED that much, at least it didn't for me. I had 10GB free, had to free up to 16 (thanks for the spring cleaning reminder, at least). After patching, I'm still at 16GB free. I think it's a bug (an actual one) in the installer, such that it doesn't recognize the amount of free space…
Just adding my thanks to this thread so there are (hopefully) as many posts/views as there were in the complaints threads. I look forward to the loot table adjustment. As usual, ironzerg79 nailed it.
Aside from saying goodbye to guildies and making sure I can meet up with them at other games, I'm struggling to come up with why I wouldn't stop playing today. I'll let my VIP die on the vine, frankly.
When you run a dungeon or skirmish, you get ROUGH astral diamonds. You'll need to go into your inventory, then to the currency/riches (little gold stack of coins) tab, and then click the "Refine" button next to your Rough Astral Diamond count. You can only refine 36k/day (I believe), so you'll want to keep this from…
Because I can one/two-shot everything in CT, including the bosses. I don't need to train & nuke, I just hold down the LMB and run. If I get the same amount of AD out of it, I'll go for what seems (to me, anyway) to be the lowest hurdle.
It's your personal IL, not the IL of the item (shown in the tooltip). So IL 135 robes, for example, would still show as 135 after you attach it, but it does add to your total.
Can you quantify "recently"? Will all toons on an account get it, or only those that were using professions? What about those who didn't do professions but did do SCA?
