  • I really feel for any player who pursues the best available when it comes out... the put forth the time and effort to obtain it then their time and effort becomes a waste when the game decides to downgrade the price/effort for their previous efforts. For years I've suggested Neverwinter quit HAMSTER around with existing…

  • Yeah, I get it but the question remains; is this a temporary error or a permanent change (which will probably require a company reply) and if it is the latter what's the use in pursuing betterment for any character to play existing content if that effort is just going to be negated with future updates? I can understand…
  • It seems to me Neverwinter has done little to update chests and skill nodes since they were introduced... unless you consider removing things from both an update.
  • All companions AI could use some serious work... Some companions have major agro and will jump into mobs before they should, no companion can be directed as to what to attack or when and as mentioned combat advantage is something that seems to only happen by accident instead of intent.
  • Strongholds are so cookie cutter... Players have no say in placement of facilities, shops, statues, etc.. Aside from the boons which are also pretty standard, the aesthetics of every stronghold is hardly worth any effort.

  • Kind of unusual since Neverwinter already has a (now unavailable) dragon clan fashion set that they wouldn't have brought that back for the year of the dragon lantern event...
  • I do and despite the efforts the game people say they're trying to implement it seems to have gotten worse, not better. It's said the definition of insanity is attempting to do the same thing over and over expecting different results... if there is any validity to that line of conjecture then perhaps it's time to try…
  • Yep, great event :+1: I just wish the 2X seals event would have lasted a bit longer.
  • The mechanics seems like it would be pretty simple, when a player has a stone of life procuring a new stone will "recharge" the stone they have with however many charges are in the stone they pick up. That way every player has just one stone of life but they can have "X" number of charges based on how many new stones have…
  • There seems to be a publicized intent to remove AD from the game... yet they still have the Zen/AD (zax) exchange which is one of the best reasons for people to procure, acquire, hoard and exchange AD's. Neverwinter has removed AD awards from several game functions like random chests in regular dungeons (not to be confused…
  • Way back when Identification Scrolls were still a thing and Neverwinter introduced VIP (which awarded ID scrolls when invoking) people were upset because ID scrolls would only stack to 99... Interestingly enough to keep the VIP'ers happy and not kill the VIP cash cow, players found they could suddenly stack ID scrolls to…
  • Probably why there are fewer "serious players" now days...
  • Way too many things Bound to Character instead of Bound to Account as it is.... My thoughts, absolutely nothing should be Bound to Character, unless a character has equipped that item and even then I still find it objectionable -vs- the item Bound to Account, but that last part is just a personal opinion. The game would…
  • Seems all newly introduced characters are overpowered when they arrive and after a while of people complaining they tend to get soundly nerfed which instead of ending the complaints, just brings forth a new round of complaints about the class becoming so much less effective. It's part of the reoccurring Neverwinter cycle I…
  • I would like to comment about the MoD 21 leveling experience. I find it thoughtfully streamlined and educational for beginning and new character class players. Good job everyone.
  • Of course one of the best courses of action is to make sure all useful items are removed before deleting a character but HAMSTER happens... I can however see in instances like we have presently, someone deletes a fighter to try a bard and decides they don't like the bard after playing it for a few days and wants the…
  • Never heard the if someone types something in a random you should respond as a "courtesy"... how is one supposed to know someone is offering general or specific advice instead of a message to a friend or guildmate, particularly if they don't speak the same language? I see messages in other languages frequently during…
  • Yeah great idea!!! I haven't deleted a character with a bunch of items, gold or AD's recently but I'm not going to try to say I never have... :3
  • Just picking a channel and telling the group something like: "DON'T KILL THE THOON HULKS" It looks like you're assuming everyone in the game 1.) Has that specific channel active 2.) Speaks the same language... If I recall correctly there are two different servers Drider (for Russia) and Dragon (for everyone else, Americas,…
  • Is the problem too much equipment, or too little room to store that equipment? Cryptic/Neverwinter gives players special equipment that is designed to work better in specific areas (fighting beasts, fighting dead, etc.) but because of limited storage space sometimes a player is forced to consider disposing of some…
  • Yeah, perhaps you didn't notice but I also posted in the new thread - right after I posted about it here first to show this is a reoccurring problem, not simply one of those things that occasionally occur whenever a major mod is released. But I suppose I should have included a link to the new thread when I posted in the…
  • Granted I wasn't paying close attention but DID they fix it or was it that the beginning of the Protector's Jubilee, when the garden is open to everyone, temporarily take care of the problem? But I suppose you're right, for about 6 years with the release of a major modification something in the programming tends to get…
  • Of the dozens of friends I began playing Neverwinter with back in 2014 and the dozens of friends we all brought into the game subsequently, I can count on half of one hand the people who still play Neverwinter. Primarily because of the too frequent and too radical changes. We can all understand when new content is released…
  • And since this is a repeat bug that happened just a little over a month ago, can we please forego the usual "we'll look into it", "we've escalated this problem for correction", etc.? Already we have to re-spec our characters with just about every new MOD and this has been an ongoing problem for years without resolution.…
  • Ditto one of my characters left the garden and is locked out... none of the rest of my characters are going anywhere until this problem is fixed. I'm not waiting till next year's celebration to earn another pass only to have my characters get locked out again! This blows!!!
  • Once again after the MOD update and Jewel of the North roll out, I find my character locked out of the protector's garden. I got my garden pass many years ago and have been able to access protector's garden since at least MOD6. Just prior to the anniversary celebration I got locked out and I turned in a ticket but because…
  • I read Lliira’s Bell is being discontinued as a celebration reward, I have several in storage what if anything will happen with them?
in Llira gear Comment by dionchi July 2021
  • I read where Lliira’s Bell has been removed from the celebration's reward pool... I have several in storage will they remain?
  • Having items frequently nerfed after procuring (purchasing) them is one of the best examples I can think of for NOT spending any real world cash for anything like that in the game, I mean think about it... If Neverwinter/Cryptic listed a wayward enchantment in the Zen Market then for no special reason bumped the stats on…
  • When removing gear, lowering item level, or just otherwise making a character less, has the effect of making that character more effective... something is very wrong.
