Unlikely that it is WAI when you can remove the aftercast delay.

Because you DO NOT cast it, duh. You cancel-cast with sprint.

Yes, this is why it's a huge problem that GWFs can split their sprint into so many smaller increments.

IMO, the way to fix this issue is to make it so GWFs drain a minimum of half their stamina regardless of how far they sprint.

so can cw dodge more then once so i cant see how will makeing sprint useless fix huge cw exploit

Technically, it is a Shift Mechanic Exploit. Done. Every Class has it.

No it is not an exploit. It was INTENTIONALLY introduced by the devs - at least for CW. Cannot say for other classes. I could search the dev tracker.

The way it was intended was:
HR lines up his 3 Second (or so) Split the Sky, but has a red AoE painted on him. He can now cancel the activation and dodge.
GWF lines up IBS, he gets an AoE lined up at him that would put him in danger: He can sprint aside, or cancel and fire up Unstoppable.
CW casts OF, gets AoE lined up on him - he can dodge aside.

What was NOT intended, and is the exploitive part, as shown in the video: Using a more or less nearly 'Instant Cast' ability, get the effect of it, and, by 'timing' the dodge right, cancel the cast and, due to technically not 'finishing' the cast yet, avoid getting a cooldown.

Please look better on the video.

You do NOT cast anything. AT ALL. No AP gain. No push. No damage. It's only an animation being cancelled at the cost of Stamina.

I saw 4 pushes, unless characters magically got the ability to run like a crab at a moment's notice. The pushing part comes before the damage/AP gain part and the CW is simply canceling right as the pushing part happens, ignoring the rest of the effect.

Alright, I took a closer look and you might be right. I need to test it as well. If the push happens without damage/weapon enchant proc/AP gain when skill is canceled, it is definitely a bug.

You forgot to say that these small sprints are half the lenght of a CW teleport, around has long as a HR shift. Hrs have 5 shifts and are ranged. Cws can cover the same distance of 6 small increments, and They are ranged. But a melee class that must close the gap+ defend + chase ranged classes dodging all with 7 small sprints (7 are if you take all stamina boons and feats) is a problem? Sprint lenght si fine the way it is.

And a gwf can only cancel ibs, for example. In the video it is a clear push effect, the GF is literally pushed by his side very far multiple times.

thats if you are using reaping strike, and you dont..

You meant wicked strike I guess! That artifact has the 9%DR for Gwfs.

That makes me laugh. Nah, he didn't got "nerfed as badly as CWs". He was already bad. SM was already bad. IV came, and made some build countering everything, I agree. But it got hard nerfed. So what do we have now ?

    For PvP

CWs is rarely rolled for pvp in the first place. Mainly because they are only free kill for GWF/TR/HRs unless they are overgeared.

So yes GWFs didn't get nerfed so bad as CWs because apart from a louder pvp minority the cw pvp changes doesn't cared so much by the majority of its own class!

Nobody uses wicked strike in pvp nor reaping strike. These are useless. And even going up to 4k defense (huge waste of stata) you get around 4% dr due to diminishing returns. No way to get 20% dr from this stuff.

Man, gwfs needed a fix but the more i read the more i see why many players got such huge issues with gwfs. You guys are clueless about the class. Just like with perma trs...

Wasn't able to replicate OP's results so it may already be fixed. I did this without any feats, DoT ench, or anything that would otherwise produce procs in addition to RoF.

Why would u nerf the class feats and encounters and completly overpower 1 class feature? this buff to spell storm beats the whole purpose of the nerf, they have more single target and AOE DPS then they had before i dont understand this logic please dont tell me this is going on live. ._.

Com'on really ? don't you think that running Karru single CW is not fun ? http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?728001-MoF-s-Furious-Immolation-(Personal-Feed-Back)

Quote: "Time: Even though I died 9x in Thaum, the speed of killing the mobs also equates the time spent with Oppressor due to lower damage."

Seem like all other classes can not take it easy and relax while CW does a job. [irony off]

And during those few days people can use it to farm dungeons like never before and farm pvp campaign top. As if cws were not already op in pve for the whole time since now, now They con enjoy a few days of godmode like never before. Sounds fine.

The current build isn't the finalized build , what do you think gentlemancrush is doing this week? Thursday there will be more to download during maintenance and I think it's safe to assume a fix for Stormspell will be included.

Funny thing, i wasted my destro playing pvp with punishing charge unless there was a roar user in the enemy team, still 29 triple kills for achievement despite being in the 12th/ 13th page of leaderboard last time i could play 1 week ago, cause using roar was not nice, but now i should watch all these nab CW whiners jumping on the op wagon and get everything with their new godmode. Next time gwfs happen to have a broken op build or power you can bet i'll squeeze the hell out of it, instead of feeling sorry for the other classes

We'll see on Thursday but I think it is pretty safe to say that gentlemancrush isn't just sat in the office with his feet up on the table doing nothing for a week the same week a new module is released .

How long have GWFS enjoyed a bugged Roar? Answer many many many moons and are still using it today.
