Point of clarification, since PTS is still coming up: It's a revamp, but it's an iteration rather than a brand-new tutorial. It's been a while since I ran it, but when I did, you started in Ravenswood, went into the invasion of MilCity, then came out of the simulation at the end. So it's a lot of the same pieces, but…
It's worth noting that we have some time specifically budgeted for bug-fixing the VarRob. (Not a ton, so we're limited in scope, but there is time budgeted.) The pieces you mentioned are waiting for a future bug pass. That said, we should definitely make sure those make it into the next bug pass. I don't entirely agree…
I don't have a list, sadly - I threw data and analysis at the devs, but wasn't involved in actually choosing what goes where. If it gets confusing, I can maybe write something up, but should be easy enough to understand.
Have to prep for some meetings all day, but quick note: While I understand some parts of the sentiment, I disagree with the idea that we're not open to feedback. If it's helpful, below are some specific fields that we're looking or information on. We're devotees as well -- I made a big ol' list of feedback when it was on…
There was a small patch on PTS that had no user-facing changes -- it's essentially a baseline for some C-Store category changes, we're reorganizing the cash shop this week. No actual changes to it, just changing what goes where so it's a little more comprehensible. And Jon's right, forum's not the place to discuss…
No change to the materials -- unfortunately, that's much harder to edit in after creating the item. It's a change to which categories it's in (full humanoid helmet, hats and helms, etc).
(Repost from PTS forum) Most of the things being discussed are out of scope, unfortunately -- it's not too hard to incorporate additional materials in from the beginning, or make a two-piece set, but once the model has been made it's much harder to make those changes. That said, categories aren't too hard. We're going to…

I wasn't involved in the decision-making process, but that doesn't mean I couldn't influence it if I really wanted to/felt the need to. As it stands, other people are taking point on it, so I'm not terribly hands-on with this.
From follow-up emails, it sounds like initially we updated some parts of the launcher infrastructure stuff, but not all. We're now scheduled for 5/1 @ 7am PDT. Note that the Aztec Headdress gold piece won't go live until after maintenance, instead of at midnight.
To clarify: The new forums will work very similarly to the current forums, in that they will be accessible both online and through the Arc client. You won't have to run the Arc client to get to the forums.
Launcher will look broken for about an hour. Should still be able to log on, it's part of fixing the Firefox issues with the Subscription and Gateway sites.
We may be pushing back maintenance by a day for a bug fix on the Aztec Headdress piece. If so, we'll let you know as soon as we're able. Edit: Barring sudden changes in plan, maintenance will be Friday morning.
Thanks for the feedback, folks. Unfortunately, adding materials or breaking it into multiple pieces isn't in scope right now. We're definitely aware that this is important to you guys, though. PTS coming down soon (next 30-odd minutes) for a revision patch, which should resolve a bunch of stuff.
My understanding is that they won't follow, unfortunately. I'm not certain whether we'll be able to manually set titles on the new framework -- I haven't gotten to poke around in Vanilla's innards just yet.
A large part of it is that it gives us new shineys that we can set up for you guys, but another part of it is that it's going to majorly help long-term stability. The current vBulletin forums are extreme spaghetti code, and migrating to a clean forum setup is going to be much easier to work with.
We're probably good by this point - we're not going to declare Mission Accomplished, but if we've gone this long without a lag spike, we're in good shape.
Yep, it'll be on PTS before launch, from the timeline I know. All things subject to change, as always Networking hiccup. We're working to resolve it, will update with an ETA. It shouldn't be affecting the server itself, just connection to it, so we shouldn't have to do a restart/whiteglove.
I've definitely asked about that in the past, but unfortunately, it sounded like it wasn't feasible. It's possible that someone else would come up with a way, but my guess is that any way to do it would end up looking bad. AFs have a pretty templatized way to make them, but you usually have to do some tweaking of the…
-We're not ready to start talking future plans yet, at least not in detail. -I would be surprised if it matches the old UNTIL reports. So much has changed since those were updated, and Randy has his own vision of CO. If pieces are used from the reports, it'll be because they were good ideas, not because they were in the…
More specifically, any FX still get applied as normal. In some powers, there's a fire aura around the sword -- the sword itself is invisible, but the fire FX still happens.
Player housing and SG bases: We're not currently planning to do these. Possibly in the future. Land-based vehicles: They don't end up looking good, they move unrealistically and wouldn't be up to our standards -- if they turned, they'd snap to that facing instead of doing a realistic turn. A flying Harley would be…
Hrm. A cat AF would probably be a bit harder than most AFs we make, simply because most AFs are just down-sized versions of full-sized critters. Can someone find me a critter in the game that would look good as a kitten? No promises, but that would be way easier, and cats > anything else in the world. (Why yes, I do have a…
I've forgotten -- are there other four-legged AFs in Champs? Did we ever make an AF of the hound from the Forum Malvanum, or things like that? If we've done that, a cat might not be too hard...
FWIW, we've been gearing our business model around the things that players do want to buy. A lot of the traditional MMO sales aren't interesting to CO players, but CO players are both enthusiastic supporters on an emotional level, and they support the game with their wallets when we put the right things in the C-Store.
No, it's still on the list -- I brought it up with the new devs. Meatiator is also still at Cryptic. It might be another while before it's made, but I'm not forgetting it. Come to think of it... Maybe that'd be a good training exercise for whoever's going to make future AFs. "Here, get trained up, and make this thing while…
Two quick notes: -Just to clarify to avoid any heart attacks, Raymond/RadioScience and Tom/LordGar are still working at Cryptic. They're helping Neverwinter as utility infielders, pitching in on projects that need help. -I'm still in my same role, combining being the Face and consulting with the devs on sales, reports,…
Not with the prices they're talking about. Are they still asking like $5 for 200G, something crazy like that? We've got a couple things we're looking at. Stay tuned.
Hmm. For what it's worth, I'm able to access it, both with my dev account and with a trash account that doesn't have any subscriptions. 1. Can you clarify where you get that error? Do you get it when you click "Manage Subscriptions" on https://www.arcgames.com/en/my/account, or when you try to log in on the Cryptic page?…
