The "Gold Seller Bots" have invaded our beloved Ren Center!
These cloaked figures lurk in a groups. Do not join in their mindless ranks.

    63 players between level 1 to 5 in the game at noon April 08 2015.

    45 of them are bots with random scrambled letter names.*

    They occasionally jump to stay out of idle status.

    How long has it been since you last actually played the game. I mean played, not just logged in to check zone numbers xD

    Thanks TT - I have to say I logged in last night and it was so depressing to see the bot invasion. I hadn't been on for a while (was busy with Delta Recruit madness on STO). But to come back and only see bots - well it left a bad impression.

    I figure you know that all ready. I also figure you'll do what you can... you always have.

    But jeesh - I can't figure out why they are here. Is there really that much money to be made with CO?

    Not with the prices they're talking about. Are they still asking like $5 for 200G, something crazy like that? :biggrin:

    Ooooh, I think you're on to something here. Flag a goldspammer, and every time they log on, they get ganked by a level 60 cosmic that's only visible or targetable to them, and follows them everywhere they go. Make it the CO equivalent of the Giant Indestructible Pink Anti-Piracy Scorpion from Serious Sam 3.

    Why the hell are they coming to CO. Seriously? A game thats like 3/4 way through its life. these gold sellers a bit freaking late to the party huh?

    I believe they infest any online game that has somekind of ingame currency that is bought with Real Cash.
    And there are allways "PayToWin" people that will fall in their scams.

    Well they got to be some kind of super dumb to go to those websites they will end up with a crap load of viruses and their online stuff stolen >_>

    But, you can use money to buy ingamestuff that otherwise is free....
    And PowerLevel instantly to 40, rather than taking 12 hours to do it....
    some kind of super dumb

    i dont have much to say nice about aio..or any ncsoft product, but i remember when they had a gm running around as a giant bunny banning spambots with some kind of falutline attack. that was good times. apparently ffXi did a similar thing with black knights.

    They could totally do that in CO. We have wide variety of NPCs for GMs take over. Would spring some life and fun in CO.
    Heck, use the bots as collateral damage in "Grond Takes The Ren Center"...

    GROND: Grond smash puny spammerbots!!!
    *SMASH!!!!*
    *Everybody dances*
    GROND: Bye bye puny heroes! Grond leave now!

    I found their appearance immediately after the raising of the FTP G limitations to be suspicious. I think someone got wind of it and totally misunderstood what it would mean. :tongue:
