I was looking to keep using Dual Pistols. Whether it's using 2GM or Bullet Beatdown. I did mean hybrid role, I just meant LR and still being DPS over Tank.
Still has me wondering where these amazing digital sales are, as I look for them, and don't see them listed. Ms Marvel TPB is on New York Times Best Seller List. Okay, is that because nothing else is selling well? Is it because comic books aren't listed on it? Nothing was selling well that week? I'm curious on this.
I'm curious where the numbers for the digital sales are. Finding the book sales is easy enough. Went to Marvel's Digital Comic Store, Captain Marvel is up there, but Ms Marvel doesn't seem to be up there when searching by best sellers. What I was surprised to see was Ghost Rider doing better in digital than Thor by what…
Agreed. This isn't to say I haven't liked some name pass downs, but most have been awful, when they're done as current timeline passing of the mantles. 2099 version for instance, isn't bad (well depending on the writing of course), since it figures a lot of time has gone by and it's much more into the future. **** Grayson…
Batman in the story may have been that way, it doesn't mean the readers or even writers see it that way. Spider-Man is Peter Parker. There are very few who have been written that feel right about taking over the mantle of whoever. Miles for instance doesn't feel right to taking over for Peter, and likely because he just…
Then, to the OP, it's just a matter what's so special about any game. :p What's so special about Metroid, in that you're playing Samus. Beating up aliens, beating up criminals, it's all the same. :p
Doesn't actually bother me or interrupt the flow of the reading to me. No different than reading a full page, seeing an add, and then reading the next page. People just finding a reason to complain. Or maybe they just really hate Twix.
While I haven't liked every direction they've gone with Superman, and I don't care for the idea of him not flying, I do like the idea of powering him down. Superman being the most powerful super on Earth is fine, he doesn't have to be the most unbeatable. I wouldn't make him beatable by a normal man (ie Batman) without…
While I don't always like where the comic stories go. My thought on this was always...if you want that, then read manga. Western comics is about the character. Punisher is a vet of whatever war/skirmish/government agency that makes sense at the time...hence rebooted. Frank Castle is Punisher. If you want to see someone…
Aren't those the ones who say $15 a month is to much for them to afford for a game, when they're buying expensive coffee and drinking liquor and eating out all the time? :p
I don't recall Ms Marvel selling that well, but I guess being in the top 100 is well with all the comics out there? Internet allows people to be louder. And what's really inclusive about this new batman? Yay! You turned a 60ish year old white guy into a 40ish year old white guy superhero! So what comics have been missing!…
Maybe, if the idea is to get rid of everything interesting/awesome about a character and the idea is to be all realistic as to what to wear...maybe kevlar and spandex should be all he wears, while staying in the iron man esque bat suit.
Hmmm...Cassandra Cain as Batgirl seemed to go over well. As did Stephanie becoming Batgirl. Spider-Man in the Ultimate Universe seemed to go over well until Miles took over. Jason Todd being alive seemed to go over well. Who were the ones who complained about Starfire keeping her look? Those who never read a comic. :p I'm…
Well part of the problem is that Marvel has started saying "screw the comic fans" The comics mean nothing to them now. They don't own the movie rights to some characters, so for those characters they don't want to do anything with them. There hope is that the comics going down will help the movies go down.
You're all working under the assumption that it's not legal for Han to be married to multiple people in a galaxy far far away or whatever planet he got married on.
Wait. I thought their idea was to have the X-Men move to their own unverse. Or is their plan to keep Wolverine and X-23 part of the main Marvel universe.
Miles sucks. :p But what's the plan here? The universes merge into an all new one? 616 stays 616 but some how Miles and Gwen come over to it and never want to go back to their home dimension? Miles is Miles from 616 but he can't come up with his own hero name, so copies Spider-Man? Sam with Gwen and Spider-Woman, or did…
Some people may never have heard of it. I've heard of LoL. I've heard of games some others may be "huh wha?" about, but this Crisis game I've never heard of. Never even seen an ad for it.
I recall reading, that comic book artists where becoming a pain to work with, because they had decided working for a comic book was just a means to advertise themselves, so they could then sell individual pieces. So they start taking longer and not caring as much about the comic.
In a graphic novel, that might seem okay to me. However, I have to agree with Biff. When I see something like that, I feel like it's just filler. I felt that way with some of the scenes in Lucy though with the wild animals. :p "90min movie and I'm getting these scenes?"
It really hasn't bothered me either way. Though, I do put some blame on the artist, from seeing the interviews on why comics are now late. Maybe the writing for trades just makes sense now, due to writers and artists having the inability to actually stay with a comic now.
In that episode, didn't they only hint that it might be the Joker? I don't remember them outright saying it, which I thought was a good move. Though I also like Bruce and Selena knowing each other before they become Batman and Catwoman.
Isn't that what it's really supposed to be? :) Gotham before Batman. The story of Jim Gordon! The only real question I think we have for it, is when does Jim actually get with Barbara? Bruce is older than 8/9 when his parents died in this show. So, either they need **** and Babs born really soon or they're going to have…
I havent been able to get into Arrow, but watched the first episode of The Flash and I want to watch more! Gotham is good and I hope for Supergirl (it's on CBS, so I have hope for it).
Maybe he went out of the way, because people had to complain about Man of Steel :p Rocket also had lots of people doing what he said. Though, I'm starting to think even if DC released a WW movie, it would suck. :p
My first thought was "Did he really have to ask for permission?" I can't imagine there being a legal issue with making your building resemble a fictional ship.
You're right. I guess I just thought of Logan being much better fighter, but really, he's likely on Punisher/Batman level so all he would have is his invulnerable skeleton and healing factor in his favor if he wasn't willing to do a bit more stabbing.
I feel part of the problem with Scott is he's the straight man of the series. The often needed part of a series but usually not the most well liked member by the majority of fans (or at least the vocal ones).
I liked the bone claws. To me it made sense. Though doing some reading, it looks like the plan is to move X-Men onto another world. :/ I think they're screwing with their comic fans just to try and fail to get movie rights back.
I know who invented Deadpool and I know he only got better when others got a hold of him, but they then went to far. :p Like many writers/editors often do. They get into the next step of "What can I do that's even bigger, better and/or more extreme than everything before?" Like Wolverine coming back from just his skeleton…
I'm not a huge Wolverine fan, but never understood the hate. Hate for Deadpool I can understand. He was a good creation that they took to far. :/ Though turning mutants into Inhumans just to screw over FOX? Have they not tried just buying the rights back? Disney has enough money, I would think it wouldn't be to far of a…
Agreed. While I think they'll move Gwen over to the main 616, I think she's better off in her own universe where she gets the spotlight, where she has her rogue gallery. But as for her sales from a previous post, still a new comic, so #2 outselling. Not a sure thing yet. I think we'll see Spider-Man pull back ahead, but…
And in pop culture all that changes quickly with a good movie and a flop. :p And what all do we hear? People wanting Spider-Man under the MCU. What event happened that changed all the MCU plans? Spider-Man being put into the MCU. As for Spider-Gwen. Issue 1 out selling others? Makes sense. Then the numbers dropped to just…
What? Please. Before the movies no one cared about Iron Man. I'm not even sure people care that much about Captain America. Right now he isn't even Steve. And seeing as how Spider-Man is outselling Iron Man in comics, I'm not sure Iron Man is really the more popular comic book super hero. Iron Man is popular because RDJ is…
I know it's been awhile, but hasn't it been written that it was MJ who took the deal? That said, the whole thing really was a terrible writing mess and it was done because high ups are dumb. :p I think this is one of the problems that we're seeing now. Fans of the comics have gotten in control of them and so a mess occurs!…
