Look at the gameplay.
Horrible camera angle, no immersion. constant voice over socrates wannabe annoyance
I'm surprised it has as many players as it does.
I dream of a Champions Online RTS, or maybe Turn Based Strategy game without too much micromanaging. But if I couldn't zoom the camera in to the angles you get now, it'd be a turd.
Looking at the chart, it looks like it never got over 7k players since it started. How many players does a MOBA need to be a success?
Steam charts don't account for players who directly signed up at the official site and ran the game launcher without using the steam platform, like the rest of Turbine's games. We can't be absolutely sure with what the highest player population peak was.
Maybe WB had the unrealistic expectation for the game to be on par with LoL and canned it when all signs showed that it was just not possible. Outside of the Arkham games, it's not like DC is really that popular of a franchise when it comes to video games currently, unlike Marvel thanks to the MCU's success.

It's free to play out of the box, it obviously needs more paying customers.
Looks like Cryptic's axe fell on Neverwinter's team when they dropped and held under 6K.
There seems to be quite a few people on the IC Facebook and Forums who paid cash money for that game's assets and apparently love it.
Too bad they'd be banned here for being the cornball DC characters they adore.
When you're an unoriginal piece of **** that can't match up to the thing you're intending to copy, of course you're going to be shut down. You deserve it.

Some people may never have heard of it. I've heard of LoL. I've heard of games some others may be "huh wha?" about, but this Crisis game I've never heard of. Never even seen an ad for it.

Neverwinter launched on the Xbox in March. PW fired people in March... Pretty much every large studio does the same thing when they launch a game. This is what the game industry does. Companies hire people for a project and as soon as the project is done, those people get fired.
Didn't expect Infinite Crisis to die so soon. But with the rise of the MOBA, I'm sure well see plenty of new ones pop up and a good portion of them getting shut down. Everyone wants those e-sports dollars.

It's a pity but not entirely unexpected since it was going up against such huge competition like LoL and DOTA.

Who said it was? The comparison could be "super-hero games".

Well that's everyone else with CO, pretty much.

If that's the case shouldn't we count every movie game spin off to

If you can make a compelling argument for why Finn should have to amend them to his initial post, I'm sure he'd ignore it entirely.
My super cool CC build and how to use it.
Count for what? He mentioned another super-hero game went kaput. What are you "counting"?
