Premade: Everyone is on the same page. Pull everything. Go crazy. Randoms: You decide that you take precedence over the rest of the team by pulling everything, be prepared to get flak and/or people quitting the instance. Personally I could give a crap unless the alert becomes more tedious than necessary, but it's still…
Why pull all the mobs in Museum to a central location when it's actually practical to clear each one at a time and defuse the bombs at the same time, since the group has to go each bomb anywhow? Or does one person run to each bomb while all the mobs are kited to a single location by the rest? The trouble to go through that…
I mean, you're going to waste time pulling every single mob inside the Museum instance to one corner, for example? The instance is structured so that it's more efficient to go through each mob one at a time because the bombs are all spread out and next to each mob. And if it's Bank, the instance doesn't exactly have a lot…
In a premade team where all members can easily hold their own, sure, have at it. In randoms it's better to clear one mob at a time just for basic consideration for the group, even if there's huge overall DPS. If you're the tank drawing all of the aggro all of the time you're already doing an upstanding job as a tank.
I removed my post. Yeah I admit I was being too harsh. I apologise. I would like to see a new ingame chat feature that allows for multiple chat windows that we can customize for individual user chat channels. That's one thing I found useful in XMPP.
Unless I'm not understanding it correctly, do gold spammers have access to the XMPP service without a premium or LTS account hence the reason for removing the service entirely, or do you guys seriously think that the spammer problem is on such a drastic level that it justifies removing the service entirely? Because I'm not…
Feedback doesn't just have to be done on PTS and it being immediate doesn't necessarily invalidate any feedback on that came later and was further discussed on in the forums. To say "everything since then" is "silly" and had no impact is just arbitary and undermines people who have given sincere feedback on the forums.…

Microsoft is ending Win 7 support in Jan 2020 so software developers have no choice but to end official support for their products installed on Win 7 when Jan 2020 hits. I take back the harsh comments I've made regarding the character sorting. That's a good step forward. Thanks Kai. Also looking forward to that heater shield going on live. Might want to recreate my knight concept toon using it.
I mean, I'm willing to bet if you asked the majority of people who aren't knowledgeable about the subculture to describe the characters Judy and Nick from Zootopia, the automatic answer would be "bunny" and "fox" respectively. Because "Furry bunny" and "Furry fox" just sounds stupid.
The term "furry" is often used to describe anthropomorphic characters in general, not that I agree with it and believe that there should be a distinction between anthropomorphic characters in general and the term used to describe a subculture.
A player may opt to use Hybrid role for their AoED to get the bigger percentage of its buff while solo'ing and letting teammates benefit from the smaller percentage buff during the occasional alert. Since the player isn't entirely support-focus, it means that self-buff is the primary focus and buffing teammates in alerts…

I only have 2 pages worth of toons so I don't expect that the new UI arrangement will bother me much. However a sorting filter would have been a better implementation by a huge degree. Still waiting on an open / close all bags button...
So you're in agreement that the term basically means "little people" which is akin to "small humanoid". The only real pendatry I see is coming from you.
I'm also in the opinion that auto-sorting the character list by most previous login is a bad idea. A better feature would be a search filter option. While we're on the subject of QoL, I really REALLY want to see an Open / Close All Bags button added to the UI.

> @sannia1 said: > So, just screw up a player's build and say "f___ em", huh? I'll be playing STO. All you're doing is just jumping from one game server to another, both run by the same company. If your intention was to send a strong message to Cryptic, this isn't an effective way to do it.
A certain culprit was not only exploiting IR stacking to get #1 on the scoreboard, but deliberately drawing aggro away from baby tank and making baby turn towards the main group and wipe them. The thread was made shortly after the fight was done. A positive outcome of this was despite having 15 mins left before maintenance…
People vary cognitively on how well their awareness is when focused on multiple things happening simultaneously before them. People make mistakes sometimes even when doing their best not to. What can you really do? Maybe a small reminder, like a single zone chat entry of "make sure to move to the side of him if he turns…
The default max camera zoom out distance is **** for Kiga regardless. If anything the default zoom out distance needs to be set higher. I don't expect that everyone, especially newer players, know how to set camdist. Heck they might not know how to use binds. I think it has to be said in zone to position their cams so they…
I suggest you refrain from using broad terms like "most of them", okay? Some of us support players aren't just using auto hotkeys in auto cruise mode for the phat loot. We're genuinely and actively doing our part in keeping the folks standing on their two feet. The default max camera zoom is one thing that can make it…
Pretty sure usage of the dance in Fortnite and any other game falls under fair use. It can be considered a parody. Even if there are actual legal grounds for a lawsuit, the actor who played Carlton doesn't own the intellectual property that the dance is part of; Warner Bros. does. An actor saying that they own the…
So you're acknowledging that it's generally understood that heroes have reinforced clothing and are not running in plain-as-day spandex (which in turn obviously means they don't get torn off easily), yet at the same time are saying that The Flash's clothing should get torn off every time he uses his super speed powers. So…
The kind of spandex The Flash wears is able to withstand not only the rigors of super speed but also super powered attacks, both in comic books and other mediums based off comic books. People who read comic books and watch shows like DCAU Justice League realize this easily from watching just a few episodes. Pretty silly to…
That seems pretty selective and arbitary. We are talking about comic book superheroes and the suspension of disbelief that comes with those right? Super-duper resilient materials can be made into a thin layered body-hugging costume that can withstand direct contact with things like extremely hot laser beams and penetrating…
> @spinnytop said: > How does the flash stay dressed anyways. Shouldn't all his clothes get torn off any time he goes super fast? Or is this one of those "actually his super speed is magical, so no" kind of things? If you're going to apply "realism" to comic books then realistically tights-wearing superheroes and…
The PSN wasn't "exposed" in the same way Bethesda's support system was in this latest fiasco. Hackers were dedicated enough to find a way to break security measures in place. The people who hacked PSN had to use unconventional methods to find a vulnerability in their servers. There has never been an instance where a PSN…
No, it really isn't "hard" to tell, especially when it's being shown in full unmitigated detail in dozens of videos. What even is this logic of a player's skill being proportional to the authencity of a bug anyway? Bugs rear their ugly heads either unintentionally from the player's interaction with game mechanics or…
"Patching" was a somewhat inaccurate term to use I guess, should have stuck to "fixes" via mods. So I'm curious to know how the whole modding thing is going to work with FO76 being online only then. Would player mod unofficial fixes still be a thing since it's no longer entirely localized?
It's clear that shadowfang isn't referring to patches that make changes to according to the author's tastes. Unofficial patches have been created by community modders in the past specifically to fix bugs when it comes to Bethesda's game engine. If the intended result is not having the bug / glitch appear in the game, then…

Pretty sure there are fans like myself who enjoy an engaging immersive narrative when it comes to Fallout with a start and finish. If it mainly focused on wandering, killing and looting instead I doubt the franchise would have kept my interest for long. There a reason why the first two games have such great replay value…
Even though reviewers have played the game extensively for hours on end, addressing various problems realistically with the game and deeming it not high up there in terms of it being a quality product, they wouldn't know much of anything about the game? Seems pretty far fetched to me. Ignoring reviews for a moment, I've…
