For an example, I have tons of high tech looking guys, it's not always obvious what exactly I was trying to do within a specific character type. Or just the weapon they use. I don't know until I load the character in a lot of cases. I have a power armor guy that uses energy, one that uses conventional arms, one that uses…
I've made a request that made it into the game, although in a different form. I don't see how this being unlikely to be followed up on translate into you coming in to shoot down my request. If we did that eventually nothing would be asked for and they'd think no one wanted anything else. No thanks.
Oh no, people playing the game... Me as a player able to get alerts at 3AM virtually any day of the week... People buying thing on the AH? /s In all seriousness your argument sound like things the devs should worry about not us players.
Why account bound though, I'm sure there are people that would be willing to buy XP for gold. Maybe not a lot of gold but still... Plus, I have this fantasy that I'll get someone else to play this with me someday and if I could gift them levels that would be great!
Perks should grant advantage points so we have more reasons to explore and do various things in the game instead of just sitting in MC grinding alerts.
I forgot those existed but I remember not liking those (because I died a lot using it). Also they're slow and iirc, AOE focused, room for improvement I say.
A full restart worked, but I think I had already restarted before. And it would be nice if I didn't have to potentially shut down my computer every time I wanted to play.
If the end results are underwhelming how does changing the manner in which we get to that point matter? I'd also want to avoid "empty" levels if possible.
Why, what do I have to protect? Then those would become the new optimal builds. I'd rather they just make it fun and impactful for every point spent. You should be able to really feel the improvements.
No, I feel weak period. It's not like I'm getting left behind in alerts. And that's for straightforward characters. Part of my problem with the status quo is that it limits how you build a character. More powerful Specs means that sub-optimal builds are more viable, especially in solo pve.
No, I've read that and I disagree, obviously. But also, if you read that guide it's purpose is to point out what specs are worth taking, because some are absolute garbage, and I think that shouldn't be the case. I also think this falls under min-maxing, if you have to spend an hour reading an external guide to get the most…
31 little bonuses spread across all sorts of things. It's not like I can spend those points only on things that I actually want. Some of that is going to be a percentage bonus to my gear, and my gear sucks. I like to think I'm a "normal" player, I haven't done the math, I don't know what caps. I just know that if I want to…
Power armor powers are all toggles, tend to work best together and iirc have high energy costs. That makes them hard to use in freeform builds since they lock out anything that isn't in the power armor set.
I think it's the failure to add a villains side combined with them getting Star Trek right after this. Or maybe that fed into it. Since then it's just been treading water. I wish this got as much love and attention as STO.
Where in this forum's description does it say "Suggestions: But keep it simple"? Why are you fighting for the status quo? If it's "too hard" they won't do it, or maybe they'll do something similar. I'm giving them idea that would make this game more fun for me, and I'm ok if it never happens. If they didn't want to hear…
Delta recruit was a better way to do it. You didn't have to finish the whole thing right then. I completely failed this challenge and have nothing to show for it.
Well when a dev tells me it's hard I'll reconsider. I mean, this would be a MAJOR update to the game. Why would they just patch so barely working system together? Why do you have such little faith in the devs?
All I'm getting from him is 'it works for me'. That's not criticism or discussion, that's just fighting for the status quo. In STO the dailies give marks for the reputation system. That eases you into the end game. I'm casual in both games and doing much better in sto. A thing we haven't talked about is the traits you get…
I can pop into STO and run a few 5-15min missions and have what I need to progress that day. Not that there isn't a grind but it's much easier to get 'end game' ready in it with rep gear, traits, and so on.
What's X? How do I get X? How much X do I need? Where do I spend X? The Rep system put's it all in (mostly) one spot. I mean I did leave out an easy way to get X...
1 I don't care about PVP, I care about fun. 2 I seriously doubt those guys aren't going to be able to deal with this considering the only time I tried to pvp I was one-shotted by someone I never even saw.
Let me take this opportunity to randomly complain about the Chinese text that pops up with some of those powers. It'd be nice if the effect was customizable as that doesn't always match my character concept.
Actually the number one sin is widespread gigantism, if you more than a few characters that just happen to be 7 foot tall, maybe you need to leave other players choices alone.
