Aw dang it all Bluhman. Was interested in what gloves you were using there only to find they were an unlock I don't have and didn't show up. Are they they 90s Foxbat set?
Just another not really a Bonus costume.

The Cosmic Paladin
(Requires: Martial Arts Master set, Archer set, New Shadows Waist Cape)
Belonging to an ancient order of magical warrior-monks, the Cosmic Paladin trots around the galaxy righting wrongs, solving problems and generally being an all-around Good Egg. Indeed, the Cosmic Paladin is doing such a good job keeping the Galactic Commonwealth in order that there's almost no chance that it'll all go to pot thanks to the selfish actions of some whiny kid.
I call her Bev.
-
-
But if someone whats to make a heroine of her, they can call her anything they want. Big Bev, Bevhemoth, Bevvy Longlegs.
Good for a Behemoth But really she'd work for any hero with one of those growie devices. Have fun.
A design that's strongly inspired by the X-COM MEC troopers. Those giant Anime style pistols, on top of arm cannons, really does a lot I think. Costume File
What costume part is that on your hand? :O me want!!! (Nah not really... The only ranged char I play is my marksman.... BUT WHAT IF THAT'S A GUN? I want it on my soldier I m planning to create)
"Good can be found in heights, even in the deepest pits of evil" but "The valleys of evil always exist in the mountains of good."
This soldier says, "Shut up! It gets hot in the jungle."
-
-
Didn't do much except use a slightly lighter green in the camo and use a sports bra rather than a shirt. Not a true bonus. Oh, you need Soldier of Fortune for the arm band, or use the knife.

This is Hawkwing. He imagines himself as a bit of an old school, classic superhero. Simple colors, minimal costume pieces and... and... uhh...
...Oh, who am I kidding. I was busy all week and I got home from work late tonight so I just slapped something together. Anyways, I hope it looks alright.
I'm curious, how many days have been missed? While all my archetype characters use freebie pieces, I wouldn't might experimenting a bit with full sets for other things.
Sorry I missed this zamuelpwe, but if you look back a few post, I've finally gotten around to posting the updated list of costumes posted so far, most of them anyway. I'm trying to finish the To Date list today.
Also, we have quite a few Bonus Costumes were posted in the early months, but feel free to post a few more if you have them.

Turns out that it works... what are the head parts? I need a new PA armor.
As always, best way to find out is to download the costume file and find out for yourself.
Click the link in Bluhman's post, then right-click the costume image and save it into your Champions Online costume folder (you'll have to do some poking around in the install folder to find it).
Once you've done that you can click the Load button in the costume creator and look at how Bluhman did it. Word to the wise - we're nearly 5 months into this thread, and every submitted costume has a file you can download and keep. Go nuts, download them all.

Hey yo! Thanks man! I never knew this! Now I can get some great PA ideas.... Mine right now is nothing more than an armor with a cyberlord face.
"Good can be found in heights, even in the deepest pits of evil" but "The valleys of evil always exist in the mountains of good."
I was able to find my screen shot folder but it does not let me load certain costumes... maybe because I do not own the pieces?
Yeah if you don't have a part it will default to either a different piece or just not be there at all, but you can always tweak the costume until you get the parts you are missing or maybe find the tweaked look better than the one you uploaded

Hey guys sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've really been pretty much dead when it comes to ideas. I'll make a catch-up post soon if I can think up anything.
A few words of inspiration for the month of May...
Bookworms, eggheads, nerds, geeks, etc. Not meant for literal use, but I would not be surprised if I see a worm at the heart of a costume or a literal "egg-shaped" head on a hero.

Minerva
(Requires: Oh, so many things, but as the costume hinges on the Bird People shoulderpads, I'll just say it requires having played the game for WAY too long)
Okay, so the costume is more 'classically-inspired' than actually classical. In fact, the two goals for this outfit were a) something a bit Wonder Woman-ish, and b) minimalist colour scheme.
Not exactly one colour. Slight variations on the theme of 'white'.
Actually, most of it doesn't even use the proper white. Just really, really light grey.
Exactly, white is far too bright so loses detail, so I always go with a very light grey instead. Similarly for cloth, I always choose the darkest grey instead.
I like the look, I too did an all whitish costume for two of my toons and it makes a pleasant change from black/red ;p

I was only teasing, bobsy. Your screenie showed the varying grays nicely. Minerva looks really nice in the CC even with the shoulder pads absent (since I haven't reached 1000 days I fully expected them to be missing). I'm not kidding, it takes an artist to use varying shades of a single, base color to do what you did. IMHO - It's a very clean look that contrasts the look on her face nicely. I half expect Minerva to be in a clean, white straight-jacket in a padded cell.
Also, I decided to load a few of your other recent costumes. Your heroes faces are really diverse. You could write a tutorial if you wanted to or had the time to. I know I'd read it.
A 1950s Inventor - Future Imperfect, I suppose

I consider this a mainly primary color costume (plus black). The shoulder pads are PSI Neophyte, and the hands and feet use Armor Superconductor. The parts that can be, are illuminated (adjust to your own preference).
All that trouble to catch up, and I skipped right past my day to post.
btw - the idea of red on one side and blue on the other came from many split costumes I've seen but mainly form heroes with fire and ice combos. She could be a straight up Inventor, of course.
I actually sort of wish the shirt followed the split theme or was another "dead" color like the pants. Since the yellow links up with red strongly it feels sort of like that side "won" to me and makes the blue feel more out of place.

I do not know why, but the file above does not seem to be working on my system. I made the costume some time ago, but it seems to have gone bad or something. Would you guys download it and see if you can use or even just see it in the CC.
In a word - HELP!

Edit - Okay, I've learned that this is a dead file. Only thing it can be used for it to look and try to re-make it. Maybe one day I recreate it.
I do not know why, but the file above does not seem to be working on my system.
The costume data segment is missing from your file. If you open one of the costume creator saves in a text processor you can see they start with a large human readable block of info detailing the costume settings, and that is gone here. My best guess would be somehow it got read / written by a standard graphics program and it stripped out the good stuff. Very unfortunate.
Its probably unlikely but maybe search your drive for an undamaged copy: A correct one should be around 70k where this file is about half that.
Or make a fresh costume, serpinecoh. Anything you can contribute to this thread will be welcome.
I'm kind of a bit confused with how this thread works with people having scheduled days and such (or is that a thing still?). But I have a few things less on the crazy then what I post in my own thread (if anybody ever wants build files
for one of those just ask), so if it isn't considered disruptive I could drop a few things in here from time to time.

dinahmightcoh tried this CaD idea last year and stopped posting in April. She burned out, I supposed. Still, the thread was very popular so I suggested re-booting it with at least 7 players.
The schedule was set up by bobsy, but it's more of a guideline then a must do. It was based off of my idea (from a discussion in another thread) that if we could get 7 people to commit to posting one costume a week (52 costumes) as a group, we might just make it to December 31 (365 costumes). With only 6 players we ,began the year with lots of bonus costumes. Now we are down to 5, or maybe 4, regular posters.
If you feel like committing to creating a new costume weekly that would be absolutely fabulous, but as with everything on the net, RL takes priority (or even gaming) over costuming.
That said, once every other week or monthly or 6 costumes total for the whole year would be welcome.
